"Hey, look, it's Sato-kun."

"Oh my god, isn't he so cute?"

"I know right, haha! I wish I were his girlfriend."

"Me too! What a dream that'd be."

...

...

Drop dead.

What a bunch of delusional idiots. They think just because they find me attractive that I'd make a good boyfriend? Sounds like a load of crap to me. I'll have you know that I would, in fact, make a terrible boyfriend. Well, I don't know that for certain, but I certainly have no intention of finding out.

People are all the same. Materialistic, idealistic, and idiotic. They don't believe in god until they're begging for mercy, they don't care about other people until people call them "selfish," and they laugh at people without friends until they're left all alone.

And what's the deal with all of this "relationship" talk? Do people not realize what relationships actually are? A relationship is nothing more than a connection you have to someone else, not a status. The second you meet someone, you form a "relationship" with them. What's the point in stupid labels like boyfriends and girlfriends anyways? Seriously. Relationships shouldn't drive people's emotions so much. I'm my own person, and I couldn't care less about something as fragile as a label like that.

"Sato-kun."

This is so irritating.

"Sato-kun."

I mean, seriously-

"Sato-kun!"

"What?"

I quickly came back to my senses, and saw my sensei staring down at me at my desk. I looked around me, and the majority of the seats were empty. Class must've gotten out while I was nodding off again.

"May I speak to you for a moment?"

"You already are."

"Sassing your teacher, really, Sato-kun?"

"I prefer the term being witty." I folded my arms behind my head, and avoided looking her straight in the eyes. My motto is, if you ignore something long enough, it'll just go away.

Hasn't failed me yet.

"I'm still here, and you're not getting out of this one."

...Damn it.

"Fine. What is it? My grades are still top of my class, so it can't be about that."

"No, it's not. There's something else I've been meaning to discuss with you, and I'm afraid it's a non negotiable matter."

I grudgingly turned my attention back to my teacher. As luck would have it, I unfortunately couldn't be too rebellious, or else I'd get into big trouble, which is too much of a headache for me.
