They drove smoothly through the traffic towards his new apartment where he waited with Max.
"How do i look?" Max asked running his fingers through his hair
"You look like you" Gavin said shrugging his shoulders
"Hey hey what does that mean?" Max asked in defense.Gavin chuckled and ignored him as he kept grooming himself for Cassie's arrival..
They stood there as two huge trucks approached them.Both had "Colette" written boldly on them.Max smiled with joy as the doors opened.
"Hey..where are the girls?" Max asked in confusion when he saw a bunch of men get down from the trucks .
"On their way" One of the men said before leaning casually on the truck.

"Your hair looks nice you know" Cassie said to Rayne who had all her attention on the road
"Thank you babe..its not too much right?" She asked bouncing it a little.Cassie chuckled at her friends behavior.
"Oh we're here" Cassie said clapping in excitement. Her smile widened when she saw Max
"So sorry I'm late" Rayne apologized to her co-workers who looked like they had been waiting forever.
"Your hair looks nice" The guy from before complimented her as she walked towards the truck.
"Thank you Roger" Rayne replied with a smile "Ok we have a lot to do lets go" She said clapping whiles the men got to work.Some offloaded the trucks as some sent them inside.
"Hi"Max greeted Rayne who was helping in the offloading.
"Hey..Maxwell right?" She asked taking a break
"Yeah..I think you should come help inside instead don't you think?"He asked with his hands in his pockets.
"No...I'm good here" She said resuming her work.
"Are you sure? Or is it because of Gavin?" he asked and her heart skipped a beat.
"Pshhh whaatt?" She asked in guilt
"Then lets go"Maxwell said heading towards the stairs.She rolled her eyes and got down from the car.
"Roger I'm going inside" She yelled and he nodded.
"Rayne" Cassie said when she walked into the apartment with lots of boxes "where were you?"
"I was helping the boys offload the truck" She replied "Why?"
"Well you missed the part where Gavin removed his shirt"
"WHAT?" Rayne yelled
"Im kidding..we just wanted you to come up"
"Cassidy don't be playing with my feelings like that" Rayne said with a sulk as Cassie laughed
"Rayne..should we start with the furnishing" One of the workers asked her.
"Uh yeah...start with the bedroom and I'll do the kitchen with Cassie" She said
"And what about us?" Max asked and Gavin frowned
"You mean you" He said and Max turned to give hit a dirty look. "Okay fine" Gavin said getting up from the floor.
"Ok here's the plan for the living room so you can start with that" Rayne said handing them both with pamphlets.
"Okay" Max said "Wait...i want to be with Cassie" he said and Rayne felt her stomach turn.
"Yeah..." Cassie said joining Max.She snatched the pamphlet from Gavin and smiled at him.
Rayne stood there in confusion and shyness as Gavin went through the kitchen pamphlets.
He said nothing and begun opening the boxes while chewing his gum with so much aggression.
"Lets start with the tables first" She said
"You do the tables I'll do the chairs" he said and continued opening the boxes...They worked in silence till they were done with half the kitchen.
"Are they seriously not speaking to each other" Max asked in disbelief "how is that possible?"
"She doesn't want to start a conversation and he doesn't want to either so.."
"We need to do something about that" Max said
"After we are done with this" Cassie said waving the pamphlet in his face.He chuckled and they got back to work

"Wow I'm exhausted" Cassie said before slumping into the couch.
"Im hungry" Max joined her in the couch. Body hugging themselves.
"Aren't you done?" Gavin asked Rayne who was trying to fix a lamp.
"I have to fix the lambs and put up the frames..I have a lot to do" She answered putting pieces together.
"You know i can do that right?"He asked her and she looked up "its my house"
"But its my job!" She answered
"I don't care..you look exhausted"
"What? You don't like my hair?"
"I didn't say that" He defended himself as she stood up.
"Just tell her her hairdo is nice" Max yelled and she looked away in embarrassment
"I ordered for pizza though" He said and walked away.She stood there admiring his back muscles while twisting the edge of her purple hair.
"I have to go" She said packing her stuff
"Bye"Gavin said
"Gavin"max snapped in anger
"What? She said she was going" He defended himself again and she chuckled.
"I have school tomorrow and so do you Cassie" She said "come on"
"Max will drop me of" She said not even looking up.
"Oh!"Rayne exclaimed with a sulk "um okay I'll see you tomorrow then"
"Later" Cassie said.
"Wow" Rayne said and left. Even though she didn't feel comfortable with the fact that her best friend was in an apartment with two boys she didn't know very well.....
"Sorry I can't leave you here alone" Rayne said budging into the apartment.
"I knew it" Cassie jumped up to hug her
"But you know we have school"
"So you can't skip school for a day?"
"The hell? Are you high?" Rayne asked in astonishment "incase you've forgotten we are graduating this year...in a few months"
"So...you're already working..what do you need college for?" Maxwell asked
"I need the certificate"
"We all do Rayne" Gavin murmured
"So we are sleeping over and we leave early in the morning to go change and all that"
"You're high...what did you smoke?"
"Im not high" Cassie said laughing "it's the perfect time to bond"
"Bond with...."
"Shhhhhh"Cassie shut her up
"Ohhh right" Rayne said getting the message..They walked towards the boys who were busy finishing up the pizza
"Yeah we are staying over" Cassie said excitedly
"Great...i call dibs on this babe though" Maxwell said to Gavin.
"You're nuts"he answered and headed for his suit cases.he took out two lage white t shirts for the girls and tooth brushes
'This is all i have" He said handing it to Cassie
"Thank you" She said giving it to Rayne.
"I can't believe this"
"I mean you can always leave you know'' Gavin said. He wasn't happy with the whole sleepover thing.As usual,it was Maxwells idea
"I wasn't speaking to you" She retaliated and headed for the bathroom.
"Told you she was a bitch" Gavin said and took a seat
"Don't call her that" Cassie said sadly and he shrugged his shoulders
