You were sitting on the couch, watching the Titanic and eating ice cream with John. You two were just snuggling until you felt a sudden sharp pain in your abdomen. You quickly hopped up and booked it up the stairs to the bathroom and slammed the door. John had a confused look but decided to get up to check if you were alright. As he made his way up the stairs, he could you whimpering. John walked over to the bathroom door and softly knocked.
"Y/n? You alright, hun?" He asked with a concerned tone. There was no response other than the painful whimpers and groans from inside the bathroom. Luckily the door was unlocked so he can peek in and see if you were alright.
"Alright, I'm coming in" he gently said as he peered in. You were sitting in the empty bathtub, softly crying in pain. He walked in and knelt down beside the bathtub.
"You ok?" He asked
"It's just mother nature treating me like shit again" you said as you sniffled. He softly caressed you cheek with his thumb. It was his unique gesture reassuring that everything will be ok. John always loved to make you smile and feel safe.
"Maybe we could snuggle on the couch with some chocolate and a more relaxing movie. What do you say? He asked with a warm smile. You smiled and nodded. He then got up, picked you up bridal style and carried you back downstairs. You took two painkillers to help relief the cramps and then relaxed in John's arms.
You two enjoyed each other's company while watching "The Sound Of Music" and eating chocolate. You two were lucky to be with each other. Soon, you feel asleep in his arms and snuggled into him. He held you close.
"I love you babe. Always have and always will." You heard John said as you fell into a nice sleep
