I like to paint the beautiful things of the world. The flowers, the sky, and even the animals. But sometimes I feel like I haven't even began to paint my story, not even a little idea hits my mind.but then I get an idea. This is where my story begins.
"Sadie wake up now!" Ms. Patterson yells knocking on my door. "Alright, alright!" I yell back. When I hear her walk off to wake up the others I quickly put on my clothes, brush my teeth, and sketch a drawing before she comes back to yell some more. I live in the Great Faith Orphanage of Beverly Hills, California. This is the worst place on Earth, the one place I despise of.
Here, all I do is scrub the floors, dust, and do other boring stuff. But when I'm not doing those things I'm either painting or sketching. This lets my emotions flow out of my soul and make the painting or sketch have meaning. It's a week until my 17th birthday and I can't wait! When I turn 17 I can buy a car from the money I earn by selling paintings. I have to earn the trust of Ms. Patterson first.
Tonight is the biggest night for me, I'm going to sneak a painting in the art competition and see what people think of my art. If people like it then I'll do some more. I have to sneak in because Ms. Patterson won't let me show my art to big crowds and I don't want to use all my money because I want that car. She says that it's embarrassing for her to see that I'll fail the world. She is just really scared that I'll get popular and run her out of business, she probably has the right to be scared.
"I'm going to go shopping for new supplies okay Ms. Patterson?", I say. "Sure, but it's out of your pocket now get!" She snaps back. And after that, I slip out the door and grab my painting and start heading for the competition. When I get there I sneak into the back to go in the back door. But right when I'm about to go in, a police officer spots me.
