It was a very strange dream for Manzo. It feels real that the boy even cried after waking up! But then, after the weird dream, suddenly a stranger calls out his name.

Kisaki closes the door and walks past Manzo. Hanma, who's following Manzo that morning to Kisaki's house, is just confused. Like, he left them after yesterday morning and they suddenly fight?
"Damn dude, did you do something?"
"...Kids in class hate him for no reason and he said I should stay away so that my reputation won't be ruined."
"Geez, why is it so complicated."
They walk to school and Manzo arrives without even looking at Kisaki. He is thinking so hard about how to fix this while people around him seem to wonder if Kisaki went to Manzo's house or not yesterday.
"...What should I do…"
He buries his face in his arms and soon, he falls asleep. Suddenly, he's in a different classroom. Is he dreaming?
"Oi, Kiyoshi. You're burning up. You should go to infirmary."

Manzo woke up from his sleep and saw the teacher standing in front of him with a concerned look. He had to apologise before pulling out his book for the class.
"Kisaki's…loyal dog?"
Manzo was about to joke that he's dreaming about his past life again but if he really thinks of it as his past life memories, he is surprised that people call him Kisaki's loyal dog. Like, isn't he a full human?
But it was interesting.
People knew that he was looking for Kisaki and never judged him. Also, they even offer to inform him if Kisaki attends class or not.
"I wish people here would just respect my choice of friends…and also love life…" ~ Manzo had decided. He needs to talk with Kisaki right now. He went to Kisaki's desk and dragged the boy out. Everyone watches as he drags him to the rooftop.
Well, he was looking all serious so people just wondered what happened.
"Kiyoshi, let go-"
"Manzo."
"Huh?"
"Call me Manzo. Also, I don't care about what others think. KISAKI! I LIKE YOU! I WANT TO GO ON A DATE WITH YOU, AGAIN!"
There's noise from the door and both of them saw people who were peeking at them. Kisaki looked back at Manzo and gave a furious face.
"I don't like you. End of story."
"But, you said I could bring you out to date until you fell for me!"
"I changed my mind! I am not worth it after all!"
"I didn't say that! You need to stop listening to other people!"
Kisaki went to the door and people started running away from it. Oh it's a big tea. It has become a hot topic in the school. Some girls are ready to confront Kisaki about it but Manzo is always nearby so they couldn't approach the guy. ~ "Get me one more. Have you made up yet with your little husband?"
"No. He won't listen to me. He's really going to stay away just because people hate him for being my friend."
"Well, I am also wondering. Why would they even like you? Your lil hubby is more intelligent, right?"
"Well- I guess it's because I am more talkative?"
"More reason to hate you."
Manzo pouted and gave Hanma another soda. Why is he even talking with Hanma? We all know a person like Hanma is not the type to help in this situation.
"Want me to drag him out to meet you?"
"...nevermind. Kisaki is focusing on studies now. Also, he probably is still mad at me…"
They parted ways and Manzo went home feeling worse. Just why is it so hard for him to get Kisaki? Why can't he get with Kisaki easily like all the romance manga he read.
"Ah. I feel like punching someone."
He went to his kitchen and got some water. The house is pretty quiet since no one is home. His parents are out for work and his siblings are already in college.
"Dear fishy, please give me your strength."
He looks at the goldfish that swim around in its tank.
" I want to go to Kisaki right now." The fish seems to swim to see his room.
Then it hits Manzo.
"Oh gosh, my homework."
He quickly went to his bag and pulled out his pencil case. There, he saw a familiar pen and smiled at it. It's Kisaki's pen so he must've accidentally put it in there when they study together.
Manzo keeps it up nicely and starts doing his homework seriously. Ah, what a shame that he couldn't fake being dumb and ask for Kisaki to help. Now, it's just back to him studying like an obedient child.
