Chapter 19

Emma's P.O.V.
I stepped in to the room. It is pitch black i cant see even a foot in front of me. Every one else came in after me.
Whoosh
Then torches on either sides of the room lit on fire. This room is very long, and narrow. In the center of the floor maybe 5 feet away from me. There is some kind of pattern. It goes from one wall to the other. It goes from 5 five feet away from me till 5 feet from the door on the other side from the door. On closer inspection i saw that there are 5 types of tiles. The tiles are maybe 2feetx2feet. The designs are Ho-Oh, Lugia, Reshiram, Zekrom, and Cresselia.
Rachel started to walk to the tiles. She was just about to step on one I quickly stopped her.
"Why did you stop me?" She asked me.
"This pattern looks strange like some kinda trap." I repled.
"Emma this is a trap. We have seen this kind of trap in other ruins. But they each have a different pattern." Said Cheren.
"So what do the se Pokémon have in common?" Asked Bianca.
"All these pokémon are legendaries except Cresselia." Observed Andy.
"Hmm i wonder..." I said, as i touched my paw to the closest Cresselia tile.
Nothing happened. I took that as a good sign. I fully stepped on it. Still nothing happened. I jumped to the next Cresselia tile maybe 5 feet away. I used my momentum to hop from tile to tile until i reached the other side. I touched down safely on the other side. I saw that the others were following me. We all got safely to the other side.
We started to walk foward. I stepped on the floor, and i fell down some sort of shaft that appeared out of nowhere. The shaft is angled like some kind of slide. Its pitch black. I can't see anything. The slide is twisting in some kind of circle. This is making me so dizzy. Finaly the shaft stopped.
The momentum that i had sent me into a spinning crash landing. I shakily got off the ground. The room is dark, but my eyes are slowly adjusting to the light. I turned around to see where I came from. The chute is closed off by some kind of panel that must of slid in to place. My eyes fully adjusted to the darkness. I saw that the room has a door. I can't get back up the way I came here. So I guess I'll have to go that way. I walked to the door. I walked through the door, and came to a hallway.
I started to walk down the hallway. After 30 feet the hallway turned left. After 30 more feet the hallway lead to a big chamber.
I walked in to the chamber. The chamber is like some kind of cave. There are stalagmites and stalactites all over. Most of the center of the circular room. The water is crystal clear. It goes down for maybe 20 feet. There are some torches lighting up the room.
Rumble
I heard from behind me. I quickly turned around and saw a panel sliding over the door. Well fudge sticks. Now how am i gonna get out of here? There must be some kind of exit some where.
I started walking around the room in search for a exit. I walked the whole circumference of the room looking for a exit. I found no exits. I guess the exit must be under water.
I walked over to the pond. I touched the surface of the water. To feel the temperature. Burr its freezing cold! But ill have to go in it to find a exit. I waded slowly in the water. Trying to get accustomed to the cold. After a few minuets i waded up to my neck. I took a deep breath, and dove under water.
I kept my eyes open to see if there were any exits. I saw some kind of cave to my left. Maybe 40 feet away. It is completely under water. I started to do some kind of under water doggy pattle towards the cave. I got half way there and resurfaced. I panted and gasped for air. Once i got enough i dove back under water. I swam to the cave. Right out side of the entrance i breached the surface. I got some more air. I dove under water and, entered the cave.
There is some light in this cave. From the out side the light filtered through. I looked up and saw that there is a air pocket at the top of the cave. I swam up and brook through the water. I took a deep breath, and dove under water. I saw some kind of stair case maybe 20 feet away. I swam to it and walked up it. My head broke the surface, and i saw a tunnle.
