Bad blood part 2

Esme's p.o.v

It was raining but I didn't care. I just ran. Feeling free. I loved it. Carlisle had the best idea for us to go hunting. I feel like I'm six-teen again.

I stop. I could smell a deer about 2 miles do north. My mouth starts to water. My throat starts to become dry. I need that deer.

I run in the deer's direction. I could see it thanks to my vampire sences. I could see anything.

I hide behind a tree. I see the deer. Eating its grass while it can. Its tail wags and I get even more hungry. I focus on how to pounce on it.

Then I go. I jump on it. It struggles to keep still. I put my hand on its head. And bite on its neck. It doesn't struggle anymore.

Carlisle catches up to me, "I see you got the first hunt." He says grinning. I wipe the deer blood off my mouth.

Carlisle looked at the deer. Then at me. He put his arms around my waist. And kissed me. He laughed a little and said, "How'd you become a better hunter than me?" He asked going towards the deer. I chuckled.

Then I heard a scream. Carlisle ignored it. I ran towards it. He ran after me.

Werewolves. But what were they around? I got through the crowd. It was two girls. "Why are they attacking them?" I said thinking out loud. Carlisle just stood aside not trying to get involved. They backed up. And Lea came in helping me. I saw Jacob too. They settled it down. They backed up even more soon. They ran away.

The girls were still shaking. I got closer. I put my hands on them. They opened their eyes. They must be Vampires. Their eyes were; gold and the other was a greenish silver. Their skin was also pale. They looked beaten. And some scars on their faces too.

"Who are you?" One of them asked. I gave them a warm smile. "I'm Esme. Don't worry we won't hurt you." I exclaimed. They slowly got up.

Jacob was now in his human form. Lea went away. "Are you okay?" Asked Jacob. They nodded. The girl with the golden eyes and jet black hair still had fear in her eyes. But the girl with greenish silver blue eyes and brunette hair had defense in her eyes. They were lost. Must be. It was still raining. I have to get them inside.

I invited them in the house. Carlisle didn't have a problem with it. He healed their scars and bruises and I warmed them up. "What's your names?" I asked them. The girl with the golen eyes spoke,"My name is Paige. This is my sister Brooke. Thank you for your hospitality."

"Your welcome. Are both of you Vampires?" I asked. They looked confused. "Vampires but, they don't exist." They told. I was surprised by that fact. But also shocked. I can't believe they don't know.

"Smile for me." I commanded. They did. They don't have any fangs. They're not vampire. And they can't be werewolves. What are they?

I went up to Carlisle. "Carlisle can you make a blood test?" I asked. "Yes but what for?" He asked. I explained to him why. "I'll make a DNA test instead." He said willingly.

I looked at them. I still had questions. Like why were werewolves attacking them? And if they're not vampires or werewolves then are they? I just hope they're not bad blood.
