I trudged into the coffee shop I felt good today, my head was clear and I felt on top of the world. Walking to the counter I noticed Craig leaning on the counter along with Token standing nearby.
"Hey, Ken! Y-you feeling any better?" Tweek asked with a lopsided smile.
"Yeah actually, thanks. Could I get one of large chamomile tea?"
"Oh? So you did like it, I'm glad." Tweek sent a lopsided smile my way as he got started on the order.
"Feel better? Were you sick?" Craig asked sipping on his drink.
"Uh- i-" I started "yeah, h-he came in here and couldn't even talk," Tweek interject sending me a subtle wink, which I was grateful for.
Nodding along with a noise of confirmation. "So what are you guys up to?" I ask fiddling with my sleeves. "O-oh not much really, these two are j-just here to freeload till my shift is over." Tweek rolled his eyes as I chuckled.
"Hey! I'm no freeloader!"
"I could buy this whole shop if I wanted too'" token stated plainly as Craig continued to complain, which made me laugh.
"Huh, so he does have other emotions." Craig quipped with a small smirk.
"What do you mean?" Token asked with amusement sparkling his features.
"Haven't you noticed he's always pissy" Craig's smirk only grew as he continued.
"I am not always pissy" I quipped back with a smile of my own.
"Yeah, I don't know w-what you guys are talking about he's nothing but smiles and rainbows when he's around me." Tweek cheekily said as he slid the drink to me.
"Well, that's only because you're my favorite person in this dogshit town." I beamed.
"Oh, great they're flirting" Token gagged.
"Get a damn room idiots" Craig rolled his eyes as we laughed at them.
"Oh I forgot to ask yesterday but, you wanna go to Denver with me?" I turned to Tweek.
" Denver? why would you need to go all the way out there?"
"Oh yeah I should probably tell you why huh, well long story short I need to go see my old therapist. But when I escape him I get to go where ever after, so wanna come?"
"Fuck you Tweek I wanna come! There's an astronomy convention out there!" Craig basically had stars in his eyes as he explained.
"hey!" Tweek interjected. "why don't you both go."
"I don't think I want him to go now since he insulted my BEST FRIEND Tweek," I stated with sass.
"Bitch, you better be joking." Craig glared.
"anyway yeah, sure. I'll just have to ask my mom then we can go."
"s-sweet"
after a quick text to my mom, all there was to do now was wait.
