Loosen Up [Pt. 2]

Somi was busy typing on her laptop when she noticed that her boss was coming out of her office. Her boss gazes at her surroundings like she's looking for someone, then gets back inside her office after a few seconds.

It might be a normal gesture for anyone, but Somi's brows furrowed when she realized that her boss had already done it eight times, and for the ninth time, the lady decided to confront her boss.

"Miss Jennie, is there a problem? Can I help you with something?" She asked politely.

"N-no. It's nothing. " Jennie said.

Somi shrugged her shoulders and was about to continue her work when her boss suddenly called her.

"Somi." Jennie said, and walked towards her table.

"Yes, Miss Jennie. What can I do for you?" Somi asked her boss politely again.

"Uhm, Did Lisa already bring the marketing plan for the launch of our new product?" She asked and immediately looked away.

"Not yet, Miss Jennie. Do you want me to get it?" She said excitedly, but her boss immediately shook her head.

"No, no. You don't have to." Jennie said that made Somi lose her excited demeanor.

Jennie was about to go back inside her office again when Seulgi suddenly appeared.

"Nice timing, Miss Jennie." Seulgi said that made the feline-eyed girl look at her. "Lisa asked me to give this to you." She said and gave the files to Jennie, but the feline-eyed girl creased her forehead when she received them.

"Why are you the one giving this to me? Where is she?" Jennie asked, with a cold expression.

"Are you not informed, Miss Jennie? Lisa is not feeling well and has filed a sick leave today. She called me earlier to give you the marketing plan for the new product." Seulgi said that widened Jennie and Somi's eyes.

"What?!" Jennie said, and immediately got inside of her office and left the two ladies dumbfounded.

"Oh! I guess Lalisa is in trouble." Seulgi said that made Somi pout at her.

"How is she?" Somi asked worriedly.

"Not good. Cough and fever." Seulgi said.

"I'm worried about her. She's living alone. Let's visit her after working hours." Somi said, and Seulgi immediately nodded her head.

"Me too. Let's go over to her apartment later." Seulgi said, and scratched her nape.

JENNIE

My heart beats erratically when Seulgi told me that Lisa was not feeling well.

Damn it's my fault. If I don't become the jealous bitch that I was last night, it will not happen to Lisa.

Flashback

The two of us decided to have dinner in a fancy restaurant outside the city to avoid the people that knew us. We were done eating dinner when she excused herself to go to the comfort room.

She's been there for fifteen minutes already, and I got bored waiting for her, so I decided to follow her.

My eyes widened when I saw her talking to a foreign woman, but what made my blood boil was when that woman kissed her on the cheeks and this monkey just smiled after that. I want to strangled the two of them.
