Chapter 1 (A good brother..)

(Im lazy to correct the mistakes sorry, Im gonna do it someday or I'm too blind to notice my mistakes)

So first let me introduce myself, my name is Jayden Im 17 and Im adopted by the most awesome woman in the world. I also have a twin brother named Jay. Yeah I know what you're thinking "Jay and Jayden haha it rhyme!" A lot of people say how cool our childhood must be...but it really wasn't.

And this is the full story of me and my twin brother.

FIRST a short resume. I have no idea where I was born, but all I know is that my origins are Mexican and African, and we were found just like that. YES this sound a little bit cliche but it's true. (So we were stuck foster families for 9 years.)

This is what people told me when I was like 6 years old and under. I taught everything was going to be great but I didn't know something could change my life for ever.

7 year old me POV

I feel great! My brother ans I have a new (foster) family, I hope this is not going to be like the last one. The last foster family didn't want us because we were too 'annoying' for them. Plus they didn't want to buy us anything! Meanie! But this time this is going to be great! We have a nice room, toys and even video games yay! We also have a new big brother, I think he's 13 or something (I don't remember his name so let's say his name is Felix lol) and he doesn't seem to enjoy us staying here. Oh well, I already love him anyway. Jay and I were holding hands while exploring the house. We will stay together forever, for us holding hands is a way to say that we never want to be separated. This is a promise we will never break, if he's going somewhere I'm going too, if he's eating something I'm eating the same thing. We have an incredible bonding, even when we were babies!!

"This house is cool" I exclaimed with excitement, "I guess it's okay.." He say with a suspicious tone. Jay always had a hard time trusting something or someone, I don't know why taught. I smiled at his remarks "Cheer up brother! I'm sure you're going to love it here!" He looked at me and sign in annoyance "Yeah but...I don't trust that other boy..he looks mean" Man he's already judging without knowing, I don't see anything wrong with that guy "Why?" I look at the man he was talking about "The way he looked at us when we were looking around, I don't like it" I ignore his words and drag him to the kitchen with me.

That night was awesome! Our new moms cooking tasted so good, and we were all talking and laughing expect Felix who was only watching. After diner, we went to bed. Comfortable in my position I suddenly feel something pressing against my back, I turn around and see Jay laying beside me "Is it okay if I sleep with you tonight?" He was shaking, I feel bad for him "You can sleep with me anytime, you don't need to ask." I answered, patting his head. He looked at me with a worried expression "I don't feel safe enough to sleep alone" We hugged each other before falling asleep at the same time.

A new day begin. Today is our first day of school! I'm so exited even if we would have to learn boring things, I'm gonna make new friends! Our parents already brought everything we need and this sucks. My backpack is red, I don't like red all I like is blue. Jay is lucky, he had the blue backpack and I don't.. "You look mad." I jumped as he poked my cheek. "We can switch if you want?" He took a sharpie and add « den » on the name so now it shows « Jayden », he then handled me the blue backpack "Here!" I smile and hug him "Thanks youuuu." I take the red backpack, write on the « den » so it can only show « Jay » and give it to him. We smile and happily walk to the car.

It's so long, we've been sitting in there forever until I see a yellow building with tons of windows on it "Where here!" Mom said. We wait for her to open the door and run into the playground still holding hands with our older brother following behind. I drag him everywhere with me, we played, we laughed until the bell ring. We didn't know what to do, so we got in line like the others and follow into our new classroom. The teacher look at us with a funny expression "May I know your names?" She asked with a smile "I'm Jayden! / I'm Jay." We say synchronized as we laugh at her face again. We the to say something randomly at the same time without noticing! I wish her luck to know who is who because we were wearing the same outfit!
