Everybody knows the tale about the infamous horror attraction by now. It was all over the newspaper when it had happened. Fazbear's Fright burnt to the ground – body of owner recovered went into bestseller. There was a deformed corpse with the caption "Eric Davis – founder of Fazbear's Fright". Nobody liked seeing it, but it was the newspaper. Of course, it's going to be shown.
However, the headlines soon changed from Corpse of "Fazbear's Fright" owner recovered at scene to Missing corpse from the morgue – risen from the dead? The mortician was the one mostly baffled at this as she claimed she had only left the room for a moment and by the time she got back in, Eric's corpse was gone as if it had just upped and left the room. Nobody knew where the corpse had gone to. If somebody had stolen it or not. There were no signs of a break-in and besides... who would want to steal a corpse?
The corpse was alive. Sure, he was unable to breathe and do certain human things now, but he was alive. He opened the front door to the house. Eric had been living in this godforsaken house for too long. Before James died, after James died. He couldn't force himself to sell the house because he knew how much it had meant to his father.
He groaned lowly. Being exposed to sunlight irritated the burn marks on his body. Eric wasn't exactly sure how he could just protect himself a bit. There was sun cream but he wasn't ready to touch his body again. It felt weird. The texture was all wrinkled and crusty. He hated it.
He hated every second of looking himself in the mirror when he was bandaged up. There were times he felt like crying out. There was times Eric would talk to himself as if he was talking to somebody else in the room. He gripped onto the sink, ready to talk to himself again like normal. However, when he looked into the mirror, he saw a silhouette of a young boy holding a Fredbear plush close to him. Eric immediately turned around to see if the child was there.
Nobody was.
He chokingly sighed and turned back around.
When he did, however, he was meant with the child being closer. Eric almost screamed out in terror before the boy raised a finger to his lips to silence him. "Shh.." the boy spoke out, "they might hear you.."
"Who are you?" Eric whispered back, leaning closer to the mirror to get a better view of the boy.
"A messenger. I have to be quick.. they might find me.."
The male went quiet.
"His plan.. it's being messed with again.. we trusted you to stop it.. why hasn't it stopped, Eric?"
"I don't know, I made sure he was dead." He started to tap his fingers against the sink.
The boy stood there for a moment before looking around the room. "You must hurry, she said. She believes that he is back but she needs you to find out if that's true. Please, Eric, we trust you with this."
"Why not Michael?"
"...Michael caused the plan... to... to go... haywire..." The boy became quieter before disappearing. Eric looked into the mirror and sighed chokingly. God, when will this day get any better?

"Cassidy, I can't keep going after the plan like this now. I did everything – what made you believe he's back?"
"Evan told you that I have my suspicions, right? If his plan is being messed with, it might be him. There's somebody I need you to look for." Cassidy sat next to the decaying animatronic body of Freddy Fazbear. He was told to go back to the first Freddy's place where the Bite of '87 happened. He hated this place. "I promised you that you can see Jeremy again, Eric, and I intend to stick with that promise. Just do this for us. Give us our Happiest Day."
Eric stared at the ghost for a moment with tears forming in his eyes when she had mentioned Jeremy, but he quickly looked away and nodded some. "I can try my best. Who do I need to look for?"
"The oldest Afton child."
"Wouldn't that be Michael?"
"No. Nobody spoke of her after her runaway in '83." She pushed a piece of a newspaper to him. "...It's believed she made her comeback in '92 like her father. She covered her tracks well like him."
Five kids had gone missing from the pizzeria James had worked at before his death. This was not the work of William Afton, however. It seemed to be somebody else's work. There was a name in one of the paragraphs. Elliot Afton. She seemed to be distraught for the parents.
"What made you think.."
"You know why I think this. The pattern is different. She wouldn't make herself public like this. Remember, I told you she is a runaway. No runaway puts their name out."
Eric stared at the paper for a moment before it clicked in his head. He looked to Cassidy again with a shocked face. "She was trying to lure somebody to her, wasn't she?"
"That person would be Michael Afton. After what you did at Fazbear's Fright, that might have given her a lead as to where he is. She's the main reason why I think William must be back." Cassidy sat herself down on the Fazbear animatronic. "We need him gone for good. I have a place for him that I'd love to drag him down to, but I need your help."
"Where am I supposed to look first? There's no leads. No nothing." He never really checked the news as often. He didn't feel like it. Eric didn't feel like doing anything nowadays. He just missed his family. His lover. Now look where he is, he literally works for dead souls because they want their Happiest Day.
Once again, Cassidy looked behind the Fazbear animatronic and pulled out a fresh newspaper. She handed it to him. "Somebody is also trying to lure somebody out."
He raised an eyebrow as he looked down at the piece of paper.
A new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place was now open for business. On the front were two people. The female was smiling happily whereas the other was wearing a mask to cover his face. Eric squinted. "Yeah..?"
"In that picture is a woman and Michael Afton. I don't know who that woman is. She doesn't necessarily look familiar to me, but she might be tied to the family or at least tied to Michael. Find out who she is. I know what Michael is doing. He is trying to lure William out – if he is still alive. That building is a trap."
"And what am I supposed to do...?"
She looked at Eric with her dead eyes.
She inhaled.
"End it with him."
