K.A.
"If I slap the heifer, I would be wrong, right?"
"You would", I answered.
"What about if I trip her?"
Karina asked narrowing her eyes at another student that stood a ways away from us talking to her friends. Occasionally, the woman would glance our way. I was not sure what her 'beef' was, but she was clearly agitating my already agitated girlfriend even further.
"Well, damn! Can I at least pinch the bitch?", she exasperated.
I looked at her.
"Oh my goodness, Kie. Your girl is a trip",Laughed Derek. Did I mention that Derek was here also? No.
"Ignore her. Wha-"
"Karina, right?"
"Do I know you?"
"You should."
"Should, but do I? No. So you must not have been of importance to me for me to", Karina retorted blandly before redirecting her attention back to me.
I sighed. I just knew that this was not going to end well. By the look upon the mysterious woman's face, shit was about to go left.
"Kai, Biiiiitch!?", came a voice I have grown accustomed to.
I saw a spark in my girlfriend's eyes at the sound of the voice. A grin formed upon her face as she turned to welcome the newcomer.
"Big sis, how's it going, mama?", Karina greeted pulling the woman into a hug.
"Lil' sis, I got tea", Mia responded giving Karina a loving squeeze before the women separated.
"Excuse me? I was talking to you, Karina", the annoyed woman's voice reached my ears, startling me for a second before composing myself.
I had honestly forgotten that she was still in our presence. 'She better make some damn noise before she catches a lightsaber to the jugular.'
I thought. Just as quickly as the thought passed me I shook my head. I need to distance myself from Mia and Derek. They were disrupting my thought pattern. I need small doses of their large personalities just until I can reduce the effects of them on my own.
"And you are who again?", Mia stated addressing the woman.
"Apparently, someone I should know", interjected Karina with a shrug of her shoulders.
