After Gracie found out that Connor was going to throw out the cat project and make a dog project instead, she decided to create her own plan to stop Connor. So the next day (Wednesday, the day that Gracie would give Connor the unfinished project.) Gracie told Connor that there was no need to give him the project because she would finish it, and turn it in for him. Connor was completely confused when Gracie told him this. Gracie was expecting for him to argue until he got his way, but she was questioned when Connor said OK.
Why would Connor want to have a dog project one day, and a cat project the next. Maybe he was just joking, or maybe he just doesn't care anymore. Gracie's plan to keep the project, finish it then turn it in, was ruined. Now all she wanted to know was why he said ok!
