Mansion of Senior Supervisory Special Agent David Rossi

Near Quantico, Virginia

Luke stumbled as he went to pick up his jacket. It was almost 11pm and the team had to work tomorrow. Gideon frowned and grabbed his arm to steady him.

"I told you to lay off the wine, Luke," Gideon said in a somber tone. "We have work tomorrow and you will be there on time even if I have to drag you there myself. I told you to slow down. You should have listened."

Luke almost giggled as he steadied himself, "I did, man, but it was too late. That red wine really goes to my head. I do better on tequila!"

"I don't think so," Gideon retorted. "Now put on your jacket and let's go. We don't need you vomiting on David's expensive carpet."

J.J. cringed to see her team member so sloppily drunk, "Luke, you want a bottle of water?"

"Nah, I'm okay, mama," Luke quipped. "I'll take a beer for the road, though."

"No, you won't," Gideon intoned. "Now, let's go. I'm driving you."

J.J. was perplexed, "Did he just called me 'mama'?"

Garcia scowled, "I would not put anything past him. He looks pretty close to barfing or being killed by Gideon. Wonder which will come first?"

Jason Gideon ended up almost carrying the much younger intoxicated agent to his car. He buckled him in and gave him a grocery bag lined plastic garbage can, just in case. Gideon knuckled the steering wheel tightly and held back from speaking until they reached the first stop sign.

"You need to be more responsible. This type of behavior is not acceptable," Gideon stated firmly. "It's dangerous."

Luke giggled and sang, "Sorry, Dad. Am I getting a whupping tonight?"

Gideon just moved the car forward again and refused to answer. He got Luke in his apartment with some effort. The drunken agent stumbled to Gideon's couch and immediately passed out. Gideon was exhausted himself and sleepy from the heavy portion of Spaghetti alla Carbonara that David Rossi had served. Gideon had to admit that his old friend and co-worker, Rossi, was a hell of a cook. Which was ironic because they all knew that Dave employed a cook at his mansion.

Gideon made sure that Luke was sleeping on his side and that the garbage can was close by. He threw a blanket over him and put a bottle of water on the coffee table and then retired himself. He would deal with the disobedient young agent when he sobered up.
