At the New Space City, Forster, and Ellie were at home, preparing for a new announcement General Gordon was going to make on Live Television, about a new place that NASA will be adding to the park.
While Forster turned on the announcement channel, E-V.A made some snacks for the couple while they watched the speech, and Ellie was finishing up with getting her hair ready. Once Ellie was finished, she entered the bedroom, where Forster turned on the TV, and saw him waiting for General Gordon to show up at the podium.
"Is the General on screen yet?" Ellie asked. "Not yet," Forster answered. "But he said we'll be employed there, once it opens." "I'm so excited," Ellie said, as she sat down next to her love interest on the bed. "I'll bet it's a big radio station. We don't have one of those in the New Space City." "Whatever it is, I'm just glad something new is being added to the city of all places," Forster said. "All we have to do is wait for the General to show up on the screen, so we can hear him."
Finally after waiting General Gordon appeared on the screen, in front of dozens of video cameras, while making sure the podium microphones were turned on. "Attention people of New Space City," Gordon announced. "The construction crew has been busy at all hours of the week, and I can assure you all that this is a surprise you can no longer wait for. Say hello to the newest attraction to Space City. E-V.A, remove the sheets." "Yes General," E-V.A said, and nodded, as she removed the sheets.
Behind the sheets was a giant building with multiple windows, and a sports field. "Say hello, to the first annual, space patrol training academy," Gordon explained. "You see, due to all the crime, and war going on in space, we are basically too busy to deal with them. So without protection of law enforcement, I am recruiting every college student in New Space City, to join the academy which will open on Monday." Everyone clapped once the announcement was finished, and the general got off the stage. Forster turned off the TV, once the announcement was over, and got up from the bed he was sitting on.
"Where are you going, babe?" Ellie asked. "To the mailbox outside, to see if the General will recruit us," Forster answered. "What makes you think General Gordon would want us on the Space Patrol?" Ellie asked. "We are already heroes thanks to the multiple times we helped NASA with missions outside of New Space City." "That's the idea," Forster answered. "Even with the way we help the general, and NASA, I think joining the Space Patrol Academy would be a great idea for us to spend time together." "Let's hope so, because our Podcasts are not getting any better with every single stream we make," Ellie said. "Give, or take, because you're still doing well on Twitch with live streaming," Forster explained. "Love seeing you in those cat headphones."
