Two years have passed since Naruto had gotten married and Sasuke had left the village to travel. Sakura didn't understand either of them.

Naruto and Hinata had gotten married too fast. Although, Hinata was a lovely girl and she knew that she's be a good wife to Naruto she wasn't sure if Naruto was going to be a good husband to her. There was something very different about Hokage Naruto than regular Naruto. Regular Naruto was fun and and easy going. He loved everybody and everyone who crossed him. His aura was so powerful that he could even convert enemies to friends. Naruto would never turn his back on a friend.

But Hokage Naruto, although similar, was fairly different.

Hokage Naruto neglected his wife. Hokage Naruto put his duties before his friends. Hokage Naruto was different.

Sakura had to understand that since he was Hokage, he had to think about the village first and then his friends. But somehow Sakura knew that somewhere in her heart that this wasn't the real Naruto. That it was a fake created by his own self to try and be a better Hokage than Tsunade, Sarutobi and even his own father. Even though all three of them put smiles on their faces when a bloody war was going on. It was probably selfish of her, but Sakura wanted the old Naruto back. Not only for herself, but for Hinata too.

As for Sasuke, well, he's an entirely different story. That day when Sakura had healed her teammates at the end of the heated war known as the Third Shinobi War, Sasuke had said something to her.

"I'm sorry for everything Sakura."

At that moment Sakura wanted to plunge her foot into his stomach and her fist onto his face. But she knew that she shouldn't waste his moment of both of her teammates alive and together for the first time in a long time. But Sasuke had a lot more to be sorry for. For destroying her life as well as Naruto's, for stabbing her, calling her useless, making her take the fall for him, putting her life on the line for him, betraying her friends for him.

Making her believe that there was even a slight chance that he might love her back. That was the worst.

That day Sakura pursed her lips into a strained smile and bandaged up his bloodied hand.

"What for?"
