It feels as if everybody had abandoned Sakura at this very moment except for Hinata. At this moment, she and her dear bluenette friend were sitting in a café together drinking tea and reminiscing about the golden days of chunnin exams and hard missions. Although Sakura and Hinata never talked much in the past, she felt as if they've been friends forever. Of course talking to her was somewhat apart of her pity for her since Naruto was neglecting her for his 'hokage duties'. Some days Sakura wondered if they were even married anymore.

Hinata pulled her loose locks out of her face as she took a sip out of her small green cup. Her slim purple painted fingers held that cup gracefully as if it were about to slip out of her hands any minute.

God she was beautiful.

Sakura observed her with a smile as Hinata set the cup down.

"I'-I'm sorry to bother you on a sunny day like this, Sakura-san. I bet you have a lot of stuff to do back at the hospital." Hinata stuttered.

Sakura shook her head and wavered her hand. "It's no problem Hinata, really, I don't mind. It's my day off anyways."

Hinata'a eyes immediately lit and she perked up. "Oh!" She squeaked, "well then I hope y-you don't mind if I keep you here for a bit do you?"

Even after all these years she still stuttered like a school girl. It was so cute.

"Not at all Hinata. We're friends after all aren't we?"

She smiled, "y-yeah!"

Sakura took a sip of her tea.

"So how are things at home?"

"Well.. It's, um, fine I suppose. I'm just lonely as usual. Naruto's been working over time at the office so I haven't spent a lot of time with him. The only time I see him is at dinner and after. We don't spent mornings together anymore, ever since the Raikage asked him to open up trading posts between our villages."

Sakura rolled her eyes. "What a dick."

"H-he's not a dick! He's a good man!" Hinata yelped out a little too loudly. Heads turned and the girl turned a bright red color. She lolled her head down and muttered a 'sorry' to Sakura. Sakura sighed.

"I'm sorry Hinata. I know you love him. I shouldn't have said that."

Hinata nodded her head and muttered an 'it's ok' before pulling her head up with a cheerful smile.

"Sakura-san! A-Are you going to the party tonight?"

"What party?"

"Ino's welcome home party!"

"That's today?!"

"Yes, don't you remember?"

Sakura slapped herself upon her head. "Gah! I can't believe I forgot! I didn't even get her anything!"

Ino Yamanaka had been friends with Sakura ever since they were little kids. Although, when Sasuke came around they had a falling out and they became rivals for his affection. Sakura and Ino had always laughed about how they were idiots back then and how hard they tried to get Sasuke's attention. Even though he didn't give a shit about either of them. After the Chuunin exams they reconnected and became friends once again.

Ino was always a good friend. She was with her through thick in thin and was always considered Sakura's number one supporter. Sakura was shocked to hear that Ino had taken such a liking to her apprenticeship to Lady Tsunade that she was going to study abroad. Sakura was proud that her friend was going out and getting in her studies, but she somewhat felt...abandoned? As if Ino didn't care about her and only regarded her as someone in her life that she knew. But why did Sakura feel so...connected to Ino? Sakura had been pondering these emotions in her head while Ino had been gone.

"Sakura-san?"

"Huh?!"

Sakura snapped out of her thoughts. "I'm sorry Hinata I was just thinking about some things. Let's get outta here and go shopping for Ino's present."
