when PERSEUS JACKSON lost ANDROMEDA SAN in the sea of monsters, he thought that would be the last he'd seen of the daughter of hecate. he'd gone on to rescuse his best friend grover and the golden fleece from the cyclops polyphemus, he'd trapped the titan atlas under the sky (again), navigated the labyrinth with his companions, and had finally defeated the titan kronos all before he turned sixteen years old. despite all of these accomplishments, the dark-haired witch he'd met when he was 13-years-old on a cursed cruise ship with the same name as hers never left his mind. and fortunatley, the fates weren't done with perseus and andromeda's story, they had weaved a single thread of gold through their tale, a tale of two star-crossed lovers that had been thrown apart, only to make their way back to each other despite all the odds against them. this was a tale that would've made even aphrodite proud.
