I went to my new school the next day and found myself being bombarded by all the students. I hate being a new kid. I went through all my classes in a mindless daze. That is until I reached lunch and I was introduced to Bella, her boyfriend, and his family. The boyfriend and his family creeped me out. Why were they so pale? And were all their eyes the same color? I mean genetics is a powerful thing but, come on, they're not that powerful.

"So...Stiles, where are you from?" Alice asked me. "Uh, Beacon Hills. In California." I answered. "Why'd you move here?" Bella questioned. "It...it doesn't matter." I said.

Tragedy and terror.

I noticed her boyfriend, Edward, stiffen briefly with furrowed brows. "You have family?" He said abruptly. I furrowed my own brows and looked at Edward. "Uh...well...uh...yeah. Well...I did. But uh...no. No not anymore. Not since...not since they died." I stammered biting my lower lip.

"Sorry." Bella said. "Don't mention it." I said. After a couple of minutes I started noticing something about the Cullens. Every so often, each one of them would fidget.

Rosalie would cross her legs, uncross them, cross her ankles, and then cross her legs in the opposite directions

Jasper would scan the room from right to left and then look out the window to his left before running his hand through his honey-colored hair.

Emmett would throw his arm around Rosalie's chair and look around before seeming to flex his muscles.

Alice would him to herself and look at her nails, bounce her legs, hold Jasper's hand, and repeat.

Edward would pick at the food on his tray, put it down, look around the room, put the food down, and look at Bella, then repeat.

Every single one of there movements...felt forced almost. Like a routine. It didn't feel natural to me. It was too perfect. Not to mention...neither of them touched one piece of their food. Never ate. Never drank. Nothing.

Strange because I would have thought that big one; Emmett, would have at least eaten something. But he didn't. Then when the bell rang they all picked up their trays of food...and threw them out, untouched.

I rose to my feet now suspicious of the family. I didn't trust them. And I think Edward caught onto that pulling Bella closer to him. Almost as if he read my mind. I watched them all leave. Edward peered over his shoulder before letting out a laugh as if to show he was laughing at an untold joke.

I don't like this.
