I don't think I've ever been more ready for something like this.
I'm getting married to the love of my life, Jackson.
"August, it's time," my Uncle Daniel tells me.
After what happened at the house he left my mom and got his life in order.
He met a nice and beautiful lady named Angel. Her name is exactly what she is.
She's so sweet and I truly believe that she helped change Uncle Daniel for the better.
"Okay," I say
I get up and lock my arm with his.
"You look beautiful 'Gus. You're dad would be proud of you," he says kissing my cheek.
The music starts, everyone stands and I zone everything out except for Jackson.
The look on his face held so much love and adoration. I knew me saying yes was the best decision ever.
~FLASHBACK~
"Honey, you wanna go on a date with me?" Jackson asks coming into the kitchen, wrapping his arms around my waist and putting his chin on my shoulder.
"Sure. When?"
"How about Friday night?" He suggests
"Okay,"
"Is there anywhere specific you want to go to?" He asks me
"Ooh, what about that new restaurant?!" I suggest
"Which one, sweetheart? The shrimp place or the fancy one, that I can't remember the name of?"
I chuckle "The fancy one. It's called Ann-Maries'. I've heard from Wendy that it's good,"
"Okay. Anything for you babygirl," he smiles then pecks my lips.
~time skip to Friday~
I put in my orange top and long skirt with a long slit and my light brown heels.

(This is what I was going for, just not with the hat or the purse.)
Once I'm finished getting ready I go downstairs and see Jackson in his tuxedo.
Damn I can't believe this is all mine.
I walk up and give him a kiss.
"Whatcha thinking about?" He asks on the way to the restaurant from the car.
"About how lucky I am," I answer honestly.
"Not as lucky as I am to have you," he says kissing the back of my hand that he had been holding.
Once we arrive, we sit and we order.
Finally dessert comes and Jackson orders for me while I go to the bathroom.
When I come back, the room is darker and it's quiet.
"Jackson?" I call out
Then from somewhere the staff come up to me with a cake with sparklers and has Will You Marry Me? written on it.
I look up and see Jackson on one knee with a beautiful ring in hand. It had a flower on it.

I look up at him with my hands covering my mouth in shock.
"August, you are my everything. If I could go back in time and take your pain away, I honestly don't know if I would because then we wouldn't have met and I know that sounds cruel but if I didn't have you in my life. I don't know where'd I'd be. So will you be in my life for the rest of my life and I can promise no more pain. Well, for the most part. We all know how stubborn I can be," he chuckles and so does everyone else in the restaurant.
"Yes," i say
"Yes?" He gets up excitedly
"Yes!" I say, kissing him
"She said yes!" He yells out looking at everyone before coming back to me and kissing me passionately.
~FLASHBACK END~
"Do you, Jackson Park, take August Anderson, to be your lawfully wedded wife? In sickness and in health, for better or for worse, for rich or for poor, as long as you both shall live?" The pastor asks
"I do,"
"Do you, August Anderson, take Jackson Park, to be your lawfully wedded husband? In sickness and in health, for better or for worse, for rich or for poor, as long as you both shall live?" He asked me
"Yes, I do," I smile while tearing up in happiness
"You may kiss-" we cut him off by going ahead and kissing each other "Well don't let me stop you," he chuckles and so does the crowd.
We pull back from each other and chuckle.
"I love you," I tell Jackson
"I love you too," he smiles then turns to the crowd.
"We're married! Woohoo!" He screams and I can't help but laugh at him.
He's the love of my life and who would think that all those years ago he'd become my savior.
