Forrbidden Love

Maryling loved Christian,

She loved him with all her heart,

Her parents disapproved,

But they couldn’t stand to part.

On Tuesday their bodies were found,

In the dark, cold water,

Maryling and Christian trapped,

A son and a daughter.

On the kitchen counter,

Half a dozen notes were spread,

‘You’ll never understand’,

In the morning, their bodies, found dead.

‘We need to be together,

And in heaven it will be’

This note was found upon Christian’s bed,

With a picture of Maryling and he.

Later the children were buried,

Their last wish was followed,

Together they laid in peace,

Forever in their hollow.

So our story comes to an end,

One of forbidden love,

Hand in hand they took their lives,

And now they rest above.
