LESSONS SWING BY AFTER interesting first period, walking with Mary and Marlene to the dinner hall she sees Sirius and Remus laughing at something in the hallway.
The trio catch their view as the boys walk over to them,
"McKinnon! how have you been?" He smiles knowingly, dragging the last word of the sentence. Marlene laughs slightly, but something diverts her attention as she looks over their shoulder. Suddenly her face sours as she sees Regulus behind them,
He was walking past with a neutral face, Carrow and Crouch behind him. His gaze scans the group- Regulus gives his brother a hard, almost guilty look, before taking his attention to Bellamy. He stares as he walks, looking up and down her. His expressions was unreadable-but definitely staring. Bellamy hadn't caught it, chatting to Mary about some nonsense- but Marlene did.
"Right-erm, yeah we're great Sirius, catch you later!" She hurries dragging her friends with them,
Sirius gives her a strange laugh, muttering an okay, him and Remus shrug at each other and continue their walk,
Once alone- more or less- Marlene looks at Bell astonished whilst Mary attempts to keep up,
"Why was Regulus Black staring at you?" She devilishly smiles whispering, her mouth slightly agape.
"What do you mean he was staring at me? Don't be silly," Bellamy knits her eyebrows together before looking over herself, then checking the hall behind them for a sight of him but he was no where to be seen.
"Ok- i'll rephrase. Why the hell did Black stare at you like he wants to fuck you?"
"Marlene don't be so vulgar!"
"Oh you know what i mean," She waves with her hand, rolling her eyes at Mary's reaction,
"Black was staring at me?" A little dumbly, she repeats Marlene's words. More then confused she begins to theorise and contemplate what the hell made him apparently stare.
"Uh yeah, like a good, hard look,"
"Oh god," She rubs her face with her hands, groaning into them.
"Oh god?-What do you mean Oh god?" Mary darts her eyes from Marlene to Bellamy confused,
"I sit next to him in potions now, Slughorn officially made us partners," She puts her hands over her face and sighs into them.
