I walked out behind Tanjiro we were heading towards our mission spot. I heard a stick crack and immediately jumped as he grabbed the back of Tanjiros kimono and looked around nervously "tanjirooooooo I'm scaredddd" I whined and he looked back and just smiled and kept walking ahead I watched and let go as I looked around in the woods. I watched Tanjiro he was so calm. The sounds that came from his body were quiet like a mother humming a lullaby to her crying child.
I just looked ahead trying to calm my nerves as I watched the wind blows through the trees. Tanjiro stopped as I bumped into him and backed up I watched him the way his hands and nose twitched at the same time I already knew what was happening but I just looked as gonna play dumb anyways. "What's wrong.." I said, as he looked ahead "the demons close. It doesn't smell strong." He said as he started a light trot through the woods getting his sword I followed doing the same thing and when we saw the demon it looked up and it's eyes narrowed. I tensed up and squeaked the drool dripped from the demons mouth as it charged at us. I watched and then as soon as it did I couldn't help but fall backwards as tears rolled down my face Tanjiro stood infront and all I saw before I fell back was him slicing the head of the demon off its neck.
