It is a Sunday, and of course I'm at one of my favourite shops. This little, old book shop not to far to my apartment. I have loved since I've came here. It smells of just book and incense. This little old man and his wife owns it, Mr and Mrs Lei. I come in there all the time. They both now my name at this point. They will know its me the second I walk in. Hardly anyone comes in here. That why I think I love it more. Its very quiet. Maybe one or two people come in when I am there. Or no one ever comes in. But the old couple bless them they are so sweet. They are about in their 70's. But met each other when they were 16. They have been together for about 55 years. That's what I want in my life. When ever Harry is serving me and Rose walks in he has a massive smile on his face. He lights up. Its like he has a fire in his heart. It's not a heavy fire, it only turns heavy when he sees her. It's the same both ways round to be honest. I think they are just happy to be with each other.
As I walk into the shop, I only see Mrs Lei and not her husband. Mrs Lei is normally not here that often. She maybe out doing her daily shop or getting new books for the shop. As soon as the door did a little *ding* when i opened it, she turns around straight away and give me a big grin.
"I knew it was going to be you" I giggled. "You alright lovely?" She asked, while she put this small box of books on the table next to her.
"I wonderful thank you Mrs Lei!"
"Oh love, what have I told you about calling me that! You can call me Rose you know. I'm not like a teacher." She said,walking over to the register and as she passes me, she pat me on the head. I just smile at her. I walk over to my favourite bit of the book shop.
"So where is Harry?" I asked cause, well I'm nosey.
"Oh he's doing the shop for me today, I'm not going to lie to you y/n m not at the peak of my physical fitness. My leg is absolutely killing me. I wish they just cut the bugger off." She said with some laughs in-between which i thought was really cute.
"Oh you don't mean that." Rolling my eyes at her from her stupid joke.
"I do, i'll do it myself if i have to!" She just gives me a little smirk when i turned around to look at her. I started looking through half of the book. I've read half of these,shows how much i come to this place. I hear some grudging coming from behind me. As i quickly turn around, i can see that Rose was struggling to pick up this heavy box of books, bigger than the one she was working with earlier.
"Oh god Rose let me get that for you." I rush over to her in a hurry taking the box from her hands. She looks so tired.
"God bless you y/n" I gave her a quick smile. I put the bookshelf she had to put them in and climbed up the ladder. This is obviously too much work for her. She could damage her leg even more.
When i finish with putting the books away. I walk over to Mrs Lei, who was sitting in her little chair. She was practically half asleep.
"I've put all the books away. Are there anymore you want me to put away while Harry's gone." I asked, kneeling down to look at her.
"Oh my child, i wouldn't want you to do all that. I can do it i just need some_"
"No honestly Mrs Lei" I cut her off. "I would happily do it for you. Look why don't you go upstairs, lay in bed, get all comfy and i can make you some Chamomile tea. I know you love it." I said, while giving her a very friendly smile.
