Ruby reads too much and Harry doesn't like it

Harry's pov:

Ruby has been reading a lot of books. Currently she's read three already in the span of a week. I don't mind that she has a another hobby beside her job but the least she could do would be pay a little attention to me. Even just talking to me before bed or helping me make dinner for us would be enough to make me smile.

I work all day and when I get home to finally see my girl but she just replies to me with short answer or just ignores me completely. I try and do little romantic things such as buy her flowers, tuck her in blankets when she pasess out on the couch so she wouldn't freeze and lather her in compliments to make her feel better about herself. Not to be a wuss but it hurts when she just brushes it off of her shoulder.

So from this day foward i've had enough.

I walk up the stairs, up to our bedroom and open the door and see y/n laying on the bed, yet another book in hand. I still think she looks cute like this but I have to tell her how I feel about her treating me this way.

I run towards her and jump on the bed, hard. I rip the stupid book out of her hand hoping she didn't get any paper cuts and put it in a nightstand.

"The good part just started! " She grons and throws her head back.

"Stop reading" I grunt and drop on top of her, squeezing her body tight with affection and a bit of anger.

"No" she squeaked trying to roll out of my grip but failing miserably.

"Ruby, I'm serious. You read too much, and don't pay me any attention when I do all kinds of sweet things for you, I'm pretty sure I seem clingy and miserable but It's just how I feel and i'm just expressing my feelings " I say with a stern voice, holding her wrist with a little force. She looks disappointed in herself.

"I'm sorry" she mumbled, I caresse her cheek with my thumb. She grabs ahold of my hand and kisses my palm. Her lips are soo soft it's like they bearly touched my hand.

"Promise you won't do it again?"

"Yeah, I promise" she holds out her pinky and I wrap mine around her's.

"Thank you, I really appriciate it" I thanked her and put my head on her chest.

"yeah" she whispered.

"But you know what would make me feel better?" I asked her in a giddy voice.

"And what would that be?"

"If we threw those stupid books out and spend some quality time together" I told her with a sly smile but her face fell.

"No! I'll put them away if they annoy you this much but I will never throw them out"

"Alrigh, alright"
