A week had passed since the incident in the classroom. The story about Christina Brewer and how and why she died literally broke the Internet, as if nothing else did. Many people who heard the story were full of shock and horror, knowing that they had allowed Christina's death to go unmourned and her murder unpunished. I'm sure that the Brewer and McPherson families would be going after the Lochland School District for criminal negligence and child endangerment in a matter of weeks, even if the abuse had happened behind closed doors and away from the eyes of teachers and other adults.
Well, Chelsea's video about the confrontation at Lochland Middle School got so many views, her MySpace page crashed. Not only that, but she got a ton of hate from the Hispanic community, as her latest MySpace post had named Declan Caesar as an abuse enabler. (I guess once you say bad things about a dead non-White person, you're turned into a racist monster.) Jacob, however, now has a crapton of new issues to deal with. Mainly, why no one ever bothered to ask him what his opinion about his brother was, nor did they feel any kind of sympathy over how bad his brother really was. (I really hope that he doesn't kill himself over this.)
Anyway, school FINALLY starts back up tomorrow, which makes me very happy; I can't believe that I've wasted almost an entire month, mainly due to the unexpected snowstorm and the protests. (Thankfully, the protests finally died down following an anonymous order for everyone who participated in the protests to clean up the mess they made and to face punishment for destroying a portion of the entire city in their wrath. I'm sure Emilia had something to do with that, as she always makes sure to shame the person accused of wrongdoing to the point of making them want to change. Or did I forget the time she had messed up my room because she was mad at me?)
Of course, the families of the New Year's Day Massacre victims received gift baskets, courtesy of the Magical Secret Society. At the same time, I couldn't see myself showing any kindness to the families of the killers, as they should have gotten some help for their troubled children when they had the chance. (I mean, a good parent ALWAYS seeks to help their disabled child, and damn the expenses!!)
Anyway, "Away in England" came on last Sunday night, yet the number of people watching the show is continuing to decline. Lydia must have had the right idea to take on a brand-new project, as it's gotten her out of her funk and making her more functional again. (I guess that she had finally figured out that Harry and Hermione aren't the friends that she needed and the friends she had left behind had forgotten about her and moved on. So she's by herself, again, just as she was when the story began. Not to worry, as she really needed to learn a tough lesson on how to be a better person before she can have friends again.)
But when it comes to Jimmy and Hadley, I'm guessing that Jimmy will have to tell Hadley the truth about how she was made when she's older, as she's still a baby. Jimmy is feeling much better now that he has finally dealt with the ugliest part of his past. Yet he still has to confront Franklin Hamilton and ask him why he would want to hurt Christina. Plus, Claire now has another reason to hate Stephen Browne; she's talking to Tucker and Trevor as I'm writing in this diary.
Anyway, this entry (though it may be shorter than the other entries) is finished, but the story is not. Not when I have so much left to say.
All I know is that I have another family living in Washington, DC, and they want to meet me. Yet, from what I remembered from Chelsea's experience with a similar issue, Chelsea did not have a good relationship with the Roberts family, mainly due to the fact that Chelsea's father Anthony had abandoned her when she was a baby and he was in a relationship with Claire's uncle David Gilliam. (Technically, this would make Chelsea, Claire, Jimmy, Mariah, Jacob, and Nicholas cousins, as David [father of Jimmy, Mariah, Jacob, and Nicholas and uncle to Claire] and Anthony [father of Chelsea] had attempted to pass themselves off as a married couple.)
But it's not the Gilliam-Roberts family I have to deal with; it's me and how I have to get to know a family that refused to protect their daughter from an abusive man to the point that that same girl ended up destroying a marriage and giving birth to three children out of wedlock. It's me having to deal with the possibility that the Williams family would want to tear me away from everyone and everything I knew and make me live with them in another state. I don't like them and I most certainly don't want to get to know them, thank you very much!
But I also know that Javier Hernandez is still around; he could order the Williams family to come to Oakmoor to meet me. I already knew that he was behind the Roberts family and Chelsea meeting, and I'm sure that he would want to have me around so he could scold the Williams family for not helping Emily when they had the chance.
As I end this part of my life, I'm certain that no matter what happens, I know that I can always count on the Magical Secret Society to help me deal with whatever comes my way. And I knew that I was going to need their help sooner than I thought...
