I don't belong anywhere. I'm a freak of nature, a killer, and I'm not even human. There is nothing good about being who I am; being a werewolf. And I've been one for the last century.

If werewolves exist, so do vampires and all other monsters, right? Half way. Vampires, ghosts, witches, skeletons and many more- yes, they all exist. But it's different than told in the movies you see and books you read. Vampires, for instance, aren't those nasty beasts that turn into bats and sleep upside down or in coffins. They were once human, too, so keep that in mind. These creatures  have heightened senses. Physical and mental. But to become one, you have to be bitten by another vampire. Then killed. You wake up and your heart isn't beating anymore. There's blood inside you, but it's cold and still. That's why they consume others blood. Not because they need it, but because they crave it, the warmth from the blood fills them up so they don't feel as empty. But the feeling wanes after a bit, so thats why they are constantly feeding. Being immortal isn't all it's sought out to be. It's not some blessing that means you get to live forever. But it's not all it's cracked up to be. It's not a blessing... but more of a curse. Yes, you live forever. But that means you get to watch everyone you've ever known, loved, and met die. And for vampires, the cravings are insatiable. And all immortal being have weaknesses. They all can be killed, so none of them are truly immortal.

Werewolves aren't what is described in those fantasy novels and movies either. They have the same basic idea though: People that turn into wolves, that are also unbelievably fast and strong and dangerous. One misconception is that we don't turn on full moons. More accurately, full moons increase our power, our stamina, our strength. All except on those first couple of moons, the power becomes too much for the human body to take, therefore forcing into the wolf form. There's hardly any of us left, most got discovered and eradicated by humans and other supernatural beings because they thought we were demons and craved flesh, which is entirely inaccurate. So, because of the fear of death, what's left of our kind went into hiding.

But I am done hiding. It may be a brainless choice, but I am going to attend high school as an average 17 year-old for the second time.
