"Clover!" My mom shouted. I sighed tiredly because I already knew what she was going to say.
Unpack the boxes. Mom told me to unpack my room after I unloaded all my boxes and furniture from the truck (which was about an hour ago). So far, I had only constructed my bed base.
I sighed, already knowing what she was about to say. "Clover, can you help me with these boxes please?" I'm like a freakin' seer up in here, time to buy a crystal ball.
I groaned and stomped down the stairs, my steps loud and heavy. Maybe I was being a tad ungrateful, my Mom's given me a lot. The only reason she moved is because she knew I had to change my scenery.

I looked at my reflection from my silver laptop. It didn't show much color, just a lot of shades.
The screen showed my sleek black hair that went a few inches past my shoulders. I had tan skin that matched with my round, olive green eyes.
Slowly, I turned on my laptop that had the apple logo attached on it. I typed in my password that was still drilled in the back of my mind.
I opened my Facebook and updated my status saying," I'm starting a new life, don't try to contact me." And then posted it. Afterwards I shut my laptop closed, with a big breath.
Was it for attention? No, I truly wanted to forget my past, it was long gone and didn't need attention. To this day, I still look back and wonder, what would've happened if I hadn't posted a status? If my life was kept the same, with no new improvements and a slate that needed to be polished. I guess no one will ever know.
