If Nickel said he had a single clue about why the heck the BFB contestants were going to another show, he'd be lying.
But, they were. He was sitting on top of Roboty as the competitors made the journey to this new show. Four and X didn't tell any information about this trip, or why they didn't just teleport us there.
He listened to Balloony and Cloudy's excited chatter, sometimes chiming in. Maybe, just maybe the other objects there wouldn't think of them as the weak group.
It was just wishful thinking, sure, but they weren't weak. The rest were just ridiculously strong. Maybe the others should try balancing themselves between two different object shows.
BFB and Inanimate Insanity were really different from each other, but very similar, and plus he had to do two different personalities. One for each show.
So, yeah, it was pretty hard. Honestly, Nickel was close to only trying in one object show. Well, he was already eliminated from Season 2, but that drained his energy a lot.
The whole Balloon situation? The Armless Aliance? That was definitely a lot to take in. And honestly, Nickel was horrible with apologies, so he just kept pretending to hate Balloon, despite not actually hating him that much.
Sure, Nickel was mad, but he didn't do what t-the one whose name we don't mention did. He could tell that Balloon was changing, but he didn't want to believe it.
He never liked change, and he definitely wasn't going to start now. He was afraid of change, even. To the point where he sometimes pretended like things never changed.
He'd sometimes just go by a policy where if you're in that object show at the very second, then you completely forget about the other one.
BFB was a nice break for Nickel, a chance to not screw up all the time. Sure, his teammates were a little weird, but so was he!
Nickel had a chance to be nice for once, to not let his sarcasm take over him. He just pretended he didn't understand sarcasm.
It wasn't completely a lie. He didn't understand why he did it so often. Why it become a coping mechanism for him.
But, he preferred not to think about those things. He tried to move on, he really did, but he just couldn't. It was too hard for him to do. He wasn't the type of person to give second or third chances very easily.
It was just not an easy task for him to do. It really wasn't. He held a lot of grudges with people, that was just the type of person that he was.
"Nickel! What do you think the place we're going to will be like?" Balloony asked with a bright smile on his face.
Nickel thought about that for a moment, until Roboty interrupted Nickel, even though basically nobody could understand him.

There was a moment of silence, which was awkward, and the team just kept walking without a word to each other.
"Blegh!" Rocky then vomited. Nickel was kind of used to this already, just casually stepping over the pile of vomit, and moving forward.
"I think that,,it might be nice if we could ACTUALLY BE TELEPORTED THERE!" Nickel exclaimed, getting a few looks, "oops..didn't realize I said it that loud."
There was another moment of silence, before the team burst out into laughter. Well, the ones that could anyways.
"Hey guys!! We're here!~" X exclaimed, making Nickel look at their destination. Oh shit. Was that Hotel OJ!?

"Ugh, Mephone is making US have 64 people in here," OJ complained to Paper, who was sitting beside him in his office.
"I'm sure it won't be that bad. At least it's not 64 Tacos," Paper pointed out, making the two laugh at this statement.
"Thanks Paper. I'll go tell the others about this now," OJ said, standing up, "Could you help me with that?"
Paper nodded, and OJ smiled. OJ walked out of the room, Paper following suit. They walked to the elevator, and proceeded to push some buttons.
They casually waited for them to get to their destination, OJ just waiting patiently and Paper tapping his foot on the floor.
A 'ding!' noise was heard, and the two exited the elevator. They were now in the living room, where many people were.
Pickle, Knife, and Soap were playing a video game, which Microphone was watching happily.
Cheesy was attempting to talk to Trophy, and miserably failing. Those two were actually cute, in Paper's opinion.
Yin and Yang were fighting with each other. Yin was trying to get water while Yang was trying to get some Dr. Fizz. Everybody was used to THIS certain fight.
Box was sitting on the floor, as usual. Nobody wanted to bother Box, so everybody just let him be and do his own thing.
A lot of the other people were nowhere to be seen. OJ then grabbed Microphone, and made her louder. A lot of people were startled by this unusual gesture.
"Hello everybody! Mephone is having..guests over at the Hotel, so I'd like you all to treat them as nice as you can be." OJ exclaimed, Microphone having an angry expression on her face.
"Please remember that this was NOT my decision at all, so do not be mad at me. Be mad at Mephone and his stupid reality show," This got a few chuckles out of some people.
"Okay, that's all. Have a good rest of your day everybody," OJ left, putting Microphone down. Paper didn't leave with OJ though.
Paper approached Microphone, who was trying to keep herself calm. Paper probably would have been mad if he was used like that too.
"Hey, are you good?" Paper asked, making Microphone look at him, "Sorry you got used like that, heh,"
Microphone looked less tense now, "Thanks. And hey, I doubt anything would go wrong with this. I mean, sure it's new people, but what could possibly go wrong?"
Everything.
Could.
Go.
Wrong.
