This isn't looking too good. These two must have been the ones who met Kingston. They look strong, shouldn't be too difficult for me and Rain. However, these two kids are going to be annoying to look after. I'll have to handle full offence and Rain...
"Rain, support me but keep guarding Akira and this girl as the top priority." Ordered Kaiser, adjusting his grip and wielding his greataxe with both of his hands. "Akira, hurry and use the phone."
"Yes, sir!" Hurried Akira, stumbling with the phone in his hands.
"Woah! We can't be having that!" Shouted the Reikoku as he removed the axe at his hips from its belt. He swiped at the thin air as if to be testing the weapon looking to be as if he had never used it before. He then stopped. He lowered himself closer to the ground. Then he pounced. In a second, he had already closed the gap between them. Reikoku held his axe high and swung it down with incredible speed, aiming for the gap between Kaiser and Rain which exposed Akira and Grace. Acting by instinct, Kaiser twisted his weapon and slammed it into the ground blocking Reikoku from striking Akira, instead his axe crashed into Kaiser's greataxe causing a reverberating ring to echo through the building. Rain moved to defend Kaiser slicing his kunai at Reikoku, to which he brushes off by simply manoeuvring to slash the attack away. Kaiser heaves his greataxe from the ground and swung it towards Reikoku. However, hastily stepping in, Gotaku guarded the attack using his katana, which was still sheathed. Despite the size difference, Kaiser couldn't barge it out of the way using his weapon regardless of how much he tried.
"Careful now. Eve still needs you." Said Gotaku paying no mind to Kaiser.
"I don't need your help you ass! I can fight these two by myself! They're just that weak!" Mocked Reikoku. Kaiser couldn't help but express his annoyance as he tensed his face.
"Fuck off asshole!" Cried Kaiser, as he lifted a hand from his greataxe and punched it forwards.Gotaku and Reikoku looked at him with confusion and anticipation. Nothing happened. Reikoku burst into laughter, tears rolling down his face.
"What was that you idiot!" He laughed swing his head about.
"I'm glad you remember what that means." Spoke Kaiser, not rising to Reikoku's taunting. Reikoku looked at him confused again, his smile wavering between total laughter and complete seriousness. He turned to look to his right, to see Rain was no longer standing by him and before he or Gotaku could react.
WHACK! THUD!
A gigantic, disembodied, vermillion arm shot forward hitting both Gotaku and Reikoku and forcing them back causing them to go flying into the wall with two heavy thuds. The arm lingered allowing for its scaly flesh to be viewed by all. A rusted chain attached to a rusted shackled clamped around its wrist slunk across the ground and lead to the bottom of the arm, which was hidden behind a distortion in space that resembled a curtain with its design being the wall behind it as if the curtain was see-through.
"Prick." Scoffed Kaiser scratching the back of his head with one arm before using both to lift his greataxe and rest it back on his shoulder. "You okay Rain?"
"I'm fine, don't worry about me." Gently said Rain. "I'm lucky I remembered your gift."
"My curse." Corrected Kaiser."We're fine too, don't worry about us!" Complained Reikoku.
"They should worry for me, not you." Commented Gotaku in the same monotone voice as always, making it unclear to Kaiser whether he was making a dig or not. Kaiser watched on as the two emerged from the dust caused by their collision only moderately injured visibly.
"The alarm sent, sir!" Announced Akira.
"Good." Replied Kaiser. He pointed at Grace. "Boost his recovery a bit so he can help a bit sooner."
"On it!" Answered Grace.
"Now, now! I thought this would end up with us only using our skills with our weapons!" Exclaimed Reikoku.
"We never said we would." Snapped Kaiser.
"That's true." Agreed Gotaku,
"Well, if that's the case," Reikoku began completely ignoring them. "I guess we're playing likes this!"Reikoku stood still. Dead still. He held his crude axe ahead of him, twisting it so that the cheek of the axe faced Kaiser and Rain. He smiled. His smile reached from cheek to cheek before he laughed uncontrollably. From his mouth, small embers burned bright. His tied hair seemed to wave and flow aggressively. Kaiser felt heat coming from Reikoku, slowly increasing as time went on. Kaiser felt the heat rise and rise seeming to keep rising. Not wanting to get too close, Kaiser instead stood on guard, alongside Rain.
"Are you ready?" Reikoku laughed maniacally. "My Geburtssegen! Kami no hono! Good name right?" Suddenly, Reikoku's body erupted into blazing flames. They appeared from thin air, dancing crazily along his body completely engulfing most of his body. His hair too was consumed by the flames and his eyes burned a bright orange. His axe too blazed with uncontrollable flames and once again Reikoku waved it in front of him. Gotaku moved from him covering his face from the flames.
"Good luck," Gotaku said placing his katana back by his side.
"I don't need your good luck!" Howled Reikoku.
"Not for you." He replied. "For them."
"Oh, right!" Reikoku realised.
