Meeting Hunter Rowland

chapter 7

"We need to talk. Sit." Aunt Louise says to me and Cameron.

"Yea?" We both glance at each other then back to her.

"You guys are-"

A knocking at my door wakes me up. I roll out of bed and walk to the door.

"Yea?" I say while opening it.

"Savanna....did you just have a weird dream?" Cameron whispers. I did sorta...

"Come in." I open the door enough for him to walk in, and shut it quickly. We both sit on my bed.

"Ok what was your dream about?" I ask.

"Well me and you were sitting by each other, then mom says 'We need to talk. Sit.' In a concerned voice. Then we both said 'yea?' We both looked at each other then back at her, after that see said 'you guys are-' and then I woke up.." I just stare at him.

"I had the same dream..." I say my eyes still never leaving him.

"What do you think that was about?" I ask.

"Well do you," he pauses, "I think, I think....never mind it's not important." He stands up and starts walking to the door.

"No get over here and tell me Cam."

"Savanna I told you, it's not important, I will tell you later." He walks out and shuts the door. Great just great. I lay back down and go to sleep.

"Time to get up!" Aunt Louise yells from the kitchen. I roll out of bed, I put on a tank top, some shorts, and a sweater.

"Coming!" I yell while running down the steps. I see Cameron and aunt Louise sitting down on the couch.

"We need to talk. Sit." She gesters for me to sit by Cameron, while she stands up.

"Yea?" Me and Cameron both look at each other with a 'deja voo' look.

"You guys are-" she starts to say but there's a knocking on the door. I stand up,

"I'll get it," I walk to the door and open it, "hi Hunter."

"Hi Savanna, um we are gonna go somewhere today and mama wanted to know if you and Cameron would like to come?"

"Yea, um hold on," I turn around at look at auntie.

"Yea you guys can." Auntie Louise says.

Cameron stands up quickly and races out the door. I just stand there and look back at auntie who looks like she is gonna burst with anger.

"Are you ok?" Hunter asks.

"Yea let's go." I shut the door and walk to their van. I sit in the back with Brandon and Hunter. Ashton is in the middle with Cameron and mama Rowland is driving.

"So where do you wanna go?" Christine asks.

"Um... the beach!" Ashton yells.

"Hun I don't think Savanna or Cameron have swimsuits with them." She pulls over and stops.

"Lets go get them then." Ashton argues.

"We can still go, we just want get soaked." I explained to Christine.

"Ok then we can go." She starts the engine and drives to the beach.

"How long are you gonna be here for?" Christine asks when we are walking to the water, the boys ran ahead.

"Um I'm gonna be here for about a month."

"That's along time away from home don't you think?" She asks.

"No not really, I mean kinda, but I'm here with my auntie Louise and Cameron, so its not that bad."

"Yea, if you don't mind me asking, what's your last name?" She asks

"My last name is Caylen."

"Oh that's pretty, are you Cameron's sister?"

"No we are cousins."

"You guys look alike."

"Yea I know." The wind starts picking up, and the sky is starting to turn grey.

"Oh looks like it's gonna rain," Christine yells to the boys, "guys let's go!"

I stand there and wait for them and Christine starts to run to the car that's like 5 blocks away.

"Hey, why didn't you swim?" Hunter asks as he runs up to me.

"Um I don't know." I start to walk.

"Savanna?" Hunter says.

"Yea?" I ask.

"Do you mind if I do this?" He asks.

My heart starts to beat faster and I get nervous.

"Do what?" I ask, he walks up and puts his arm around my waist.

"This."

My face starts to turn red.

"I don't mind." I replied, just then the rain starts to fall. It's a warm rain, it feels nice falling down onto us. I look over at Hunter and he's just looking at me as we walk.

"What?" I laugh a little asking.

"It's just that you are so beautiful Savanna." He blushes.
