They were placing the last dragon in the middle of the pitch. The most scary dragon of the four I had seen, and Harry was the only one who still had to perform. He entered, and everyone stopped talking. His eyes scanned the crowd of students and professors, until his eyes stopped on me. He raised his wand and murmured a spell. His Firebolt flew in his hand. I smirked, knowing fully well what he was planning.

He flew up, under the dragons head, above its back, and its tail slashed his shoulder. Harry flew back up, suddenly dived under the dragon and flew back up and out of reach with the egg in his hands. Everyone cheered, except for the Slytherins, of course. Harry's eyes found mine and we quickly shared a small smile before he walked away to the tent.

I ran up the stairs of the Astronomy Tower. Harry wasn't there. He was probably just late.

I started walking back to my dormitory. I had been waiting for two hours and Harry hadn't shown up. The next day, he wasn't in classes and I was starting to get worried. That evening, I ran up the Astronomy Tower again, praying Harry would be there. And he was. He smiled when he saw me. I walked up to him and hugged him. He winced. 'Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you.' 'It's fine, just try not to touch my shoulder. That dragon made a bloody deep cut. Sorry I wasn't here yesterday, Pomfrey wouldn't let me leave.' I hugged him again, careful not to touch his shoulder. 'I almost fell of my chair when I saw that dragon. The most scariest of the four.' He chuckled. 'And the most dangerous. Anyway, I hoped you could help a little with the egg?' 'Sure.' We studied the egg for a good two hours before I yawned and Harry suggested that we would go back to our dormitory's.

'There will be a ball with Christmas, called the Yule Ball. It is for the Triwizard Tournament. The Champions will start the dance, so try to get a partner,' Snape explained, with a glare at Harry when he made the last comment. 'Class dismissed.' I walked out of the classroom, to see Harry running after a Ravenclaw girl. 'Cho!' I smirked. 'What're you smirking at, darling?' Pansy and Blaise had managed to catch up with me. 'Bet you were smirking at Potter, the way he was chasing that poor girl,' Pansy said. Blaise snorted, and I managed a smile, though I knew Pansy and Blaise would see it was forced. And they did.

'Okay Draco, what's up? You've been acting weird since the start of the year!' Blaise said. 'Yeah, you can talk with us, you know? You're our best friend,' Pansy butted in. 'I have no idea what you two are talking about,' was my answer. 'Oh come on, don't give us that crap, darling. You sneak off somewhere every evening and don't return for a good couple of hours. You don't throw as much insults at Potter as you used to, you don't bully first years anymore, and you even smiled when Potter got that egg! What's going on?' I mentally cursed myself. Should've known Pansy and Blaise would notice something.

'I'm not supposed to tell anyone, so say one word to someone and I'll personally curse the living shit out of you. Got that clear?' They both nodded. 'Basically, I got a letter from Harry over the summer, saying that he needed help. So I went to his house and it turned out that he was getting abused. He stayed over at my place for a month before we returned to school, we're meeting every evening 9'0 clock at the Astronomy Tower. In public we still pretend to hate each other, but we turned pretty close friends,' I said. Pansy and Blaise looked at each other and back at me. 'Cool,' was all Blaise said. Honestly, I didn't really expect anything else from him. 'That's nice. But we're still your best friends right?' Blaise punched her. 'Of course Panse,' I said, grinning as she attacked Blaise for punching her.

I was waiting behind the stairs, when Harry came walking up. He pulled his cloak off and I jumped him.
'Boo!'
'Shit!'
'Language!'
'Asshole!'
He grabbed a pillow and started to smack me with it. I held my hands up in defence, laughing. 'Stop it... There's something I need to tell you...' I was still breathless with laughter. Once I calmed down, I looked Harry straight in the eyes without blinking once. 'Creep...' he murmured. I smirked and looked at my feet. 'Anyway, Pansy and Blaise noticed some things, and kept pushing me to tell them what was going on with me. I told them about our friendship and also told them not to tell anyone. They were okay with it.'

He didn't say anything, so I looked up. He was staring blankly into space. 'Harry,' I snapped my fingers in front of him. 'Hmm? Oh, right, sorry. But I don't mind you telling your best friends, as long as they don't tell anyone. I mean, I told Hermione. She's also fine with it.' 'You told Gra- Hermione? Not Weas- Ron?' He looked up as I said their first names. 'No, Ron can't keep a secret. I know I have to tell him someday, just... not today.'

I remembered the girl he ran after. 'Got a little luck, with that Ravenclaw?' He turned red. 'You saw that?' I nodded. 'She already got asked by someone else.' I saw a little glint of sadness in his eyes as he said that. 'Aww, poor you. Why don't you try the Weasley girl?' 'Already taken.' 'Aww, how about-' 'How about you shut up?' he said, smacking my head with a pillow again.
