Chapter 2

There was a knocking on my door causing me to wake up with a groan and with a stretch. The knocking continue as I look over to my alarm clock.
"Mom its 7 in the morning please 30 more minutes." I whisper pulling the covers over my head.
"Ariana get up we need to go its a long way we go... Don't make me go in there young lady." Mom said through the door.
I didn't listen I was to caught up in my dream but as always I was ripped away from it. I force my eyes to open as Lizzy laughter flows through my head.
"Get up Ari and please put something nice on okay baby girl." Mom says looking down at me desperately.
"Okay... okay I'm up and I promise to wear something nice" I told her as i got out of bed.
"Good and thank you baby girl" she said and left my room smiling.
I sighed and look around my room I'm going to miss it here but maybe its good to have a change in my life. I did live here my whole life and I have this feeling that a great change is coming I don't know what it can be but its going to be big.
~ Ari don't over think it and we better hurry up before our mother comes back ~ Lizzy said
~ You're right but I can't help it Lizzy I mean don't you feel it? ~ I said back to her but she stayed quiet.
I just decided to listen to her and went to take a shower washing my hair also. When I got out I connected my blower and hair iron and started working on my hair first. Soon i was done getting ready and went downstairs to eat something.(her outfit and hair is above)
"Oh my... Ari you look beautiful where your glasses?" Mom said when she see me.
"Thank you mom and they're in my bag I'm wearing my contacts." I said lowly blushing slightly.
Mom smile at me and hand me a plate with two pancakes and bacon on it.
"Eat sweetheart its a long way we going." She said.
"Mom what time is our flight leaving to California?" I ask after swallowing down some pancakes.
"At 11:30 but we have to be there 3 hours before I know it's stupid but thats how it is now hurry up honey we about to leave" she said walking out of the kitchen.
I hurried to finish my breakfast and washing it down with a glass of orange juice, I clean the plate when I realized something.
"Mom please tell you not selling the house are you?" I asked nervous of what the answer might be.
"Of course not honey I know how much this house means to you so this can be a vacation house when every you want to come here with your future mates-" I cut her off.
"What mates.... you mean two?" I asked.
Mom froze for a sec then a nervous smile came on her face.
"Ari how would I know, I meant one you know that." She said.
Huh... I guess I did but then why she froze up when I asked oh well mom always been weird like that. I went to my room to get my bag and went back downstairs to help mom get our luggage in the taxi, when we was done I looked back at my house. I really going to miss it here I quickly got in the taxi so I won't start crying and when I got in mom smile at me and pat my hand in a gentle gesture.
"You going to love California Ari I know you will." She said.
I just faced the window and plugged in my headphones and started to listen to music.
~ Everything going to change Lizzy ~ I said to her softly.
~ And we'll be ready for it Ari ~ Lizzy said with a powerful voice full of determination and strength.
And to tell you the truth I can feel it race through my veins.
