"Can we talk?" I asked my boyfriend Nate.
"Yeah sure, is it something I did?"
"No, it's something I've been dreading to tell you, but I have to. Or else you'll never forgive me when the day comes around." I said trying not to cry.
"What?!?! What is it? Are you pregnant? Did you cheat?" He asked not looking at you.
"NO! GOD NO!!" I'm moving in 3 days."
He sat on your bed and tried to take everything in. You've been his best friend since 1st grade, and you two shared everything. You started to date sophomore year of high school, and things have been shaky, but you two understood each other.
"I'm sorry." I whispered.
"13 years, that's to much to go down the drain." He said with his head in his hands. I sat next to him.
"Who said it's going down the drain babe?" I said rubbing his back.
"I love you! And I know that once someone I care about moves, I lose contact with them. And I can't lose you! Cause one day I'll see you at the coffee shop, and I won't know what to say or what to talk to you about. That's just how it is." He said crying.
"Nate, I promise we'll keep in touch, and I'll come back and visit anytime you want me to. My heart belongs to you, and no matter how far I am from you I will always love you! Long distance relationships don't work very often, but ours is a different story". I love you Nathan Skate Maloley!
