Standing from across me is a man built so well, tall as post, and eyes shimmering brighter than the sun that is hitting my face. His eyes locked with mine to which made me feel well uncomfortable as Nayeon and Gyeongsu starts fighting in the background while we only stare and drift into our own little world together.

After a moment of our shared eye contact, his feet started to move slowly, making his way to me. Though covered with blood, his presence is still somewhat comforting and visual is stunning, completely taking my breath away.

I know this guy. He is what everyone would talk about daily- a guy who fights like wild animal, swiftly dodging each thrown punch at him, completely showing how quick and agile his body can be.

His gaze could pretty much dig a hole out of my face as his hand slowly lifted towards me, hesitant on touching me by my arm. His mouth showed a smirk before slowly opening it to tell me something “You're safe” he smiled, “that's good”.

Nodding, I decided to play along “Yeah, you too” I grinned, doing something he couldn't; grabbing me by the arm. Grabbing his arm, I looked at him up and down “You know me?” his eyes lightened, waiting for my answer.

I shrugged my head no, muttering the words “Lee Suhyeok” pointing at his name tag, I slowly read his name out before walking pass him to talk to someone who I actually know.

“I felt my heart drop the same time I saw you dropping down from above” I tell Cheongsan with a worried face, looking at him from top to bottom as I check for any marks that could possibly be a mark from a zombie's bite.

“And do you know how I felt at that moment?”
Standing from beside Gyeongsu after just pulling him aside before he could've landed a fist on Nayeon (Which he should've), Cheongsan glared at me, stressed from both the zombies and the fight that is starting to happen in this small room of ours.

“What's a welfie?” asked Ms. Park, standing between the two. The room fell quiet, not one of us uttering a word to answer her question. Ms. Park looked around, looking at us for an answer but no one but the man from before was brave enough to answer.

“A person on a welfare” Suhyeok answered coldly, his eyes were nothing but gloomy as the rest of us tried hard to not look at anyone involved in the middle. “What?” Ms. Park asks again, this time, with a heavier tone as she clearly disapprove of this word used by one of her students who she probably thought was a decent human, considerate of everyone around her.

Suhyeok then repeats the answer with that same tone of coldness to his voice “A person on welfare”. Heads raised low, Nayeon probably felt shame climbing her body as Ms. Park finds out about her use of filthy words towards a classmate that only wanted to help. I, too felt shame despite not contributing anything to the fight nor using the word even once.

“Nayeon, you were wrong. Don't you ever say that again” Ms. Park said, lecturing the female dressed in a pink cardigan infront of her. Turning her head to Gyeongsu, Ms. Park continued to lecture and knock some sense to them. “Gyeongsu, if you hit someone for saying that, you're the one that loses. You understand me, right?” She continues, leaving us all quiet as the awkward atmosphere thickens.

“no” he muttered, not budging to any of Ms. Park's never ending nagging. “We shouldn't be fighting among ourselves now! we don't know what's going in-” her lecture was glady cut short when Suhyeok intervenes in to tell Ms. Park the word that has never left his mind.

“They're zombies, right?” Suhyeok cut her off, making me reply with what's in my own mind “Like the ones from Train To Busan” I said, pointing at the window when one of the girls in a pony tail stepped in and asked actual important questions.

“Where are the other teachers? Did you call the cops?” She asked quickly, hoping for an answer that will put everyone at ease “I'm sure someone did” That answer alone answered every other questions to be asked. My ‘wild’ guess here is that she also doesn't have her phone with her and the chances of us rotting here in the room, waiting for help is very high.

In that case, I'd rather jump off this building and run in the streets before being mauled on by the zombies around me. That would be my plan if we don't get out of this room in the next day or so. We'd probably even be dead when that time comes; we don't have food or water and I'm sure all of us now are very hungry and thirsty from all that action that just happened. Well I'm sure I am.

“I don't have my phone with me” That's what I thought. Frustrated, I sat down on floor by the window as I watch everyone else from below. “We already called. The police and the first responders made it clear that they aren't coming” Cheongsan replied, his face screamed tireness and loss of hope as we don't have anything to contact the outside anymore.

I just dozed off as everyone talked and argued around me. Thinking of everything that happened in my short life, taking my last moments to think about my achievements and my happy memories that came to an end when I turned 16. Maybe after this, I'll get to see my mom again?

“Wait, this works, right?” Someone shouts, waking me up from my thoughts. Joonyeong rushed towards the computer that everyone overlooked until now. Watching him sit down comfortably on the chair, I quickly stood up and lean beside him as we all tuned in.

“Why isn't it turning on?” Ms. Park asked, pointing towards the faint light from the lower right of the monitor “It's just turning on. It's for work so it's slow” Joonyeong replied, shaking the cursor left and right in hopes that it will help fasten the computer up.

After it turning on, I felt a spark of hope light up inside of me as everyone argues on which to search up first “Zombies!” One suggested to which another disagrees on “No, search up Hyosan” they shout. “How to survive with nothing” I suggested, nudging on Joonyeong's arm.
