Chapter 30

LANO POV

"Yall wanna go to the movies? I wanna go see Fast and Furious 7" I asked.

"Yea we would love to go." 😍Madison replied.

Madison was kinda creeping me out. She has a boyfriend but is hitting on me. I mean I am fine asf😏 but she and Joseph seem like they are good together.

"Destiny you coming?" Joseph asked,
"Yea ill come I don't have anything better to do with my life." She replied.

"Okay guys lettme run to the bathroom and I'll be ready to go k." Taylor said.

TAYLOR POV
I quickly rushed to find a bathroom. After 5 minutes of walking around I finally found one.

"Taylor?" Someone said as I was washing my hands.

"Maya?!?" I said "I haven't seen you in forever how you been?" I asked.

"I've been pretty good." She replied

"That's good!" I told her

"Yea ill text you or something! I miss my best friend" she told me.

"Me too 😢.. hey! Lano and I are goin to the movies with a few of destiny's friends you wanna come?"

"Yea I have some extra money ill join, but I gotta get Brooke, her and her little friend Payton wondered off ",

"I'll help you find them 😂" I told her

As Maya and me went around looking for Brooke since her phone died we kinda caught up with each other. I found out she got a few scholarships from different colleges for tennis, her boyfriend Noah cheated on her with her cousin and now she's looking for someone new. I told her Id ask Lano if any of his friends would be interested in a double date.

After walking around the mall for almost 30 minutes we finally found Brooke and her friend. They were actually close to Lano, Joseph, destiny and Madison. They were sitting a a booth in the food court with two guys. So immediately after we grabbed the girls we met back up with Lano, Destiny, Joseph and Madison.

LANO POV
"What took you so damn long?" I asked Taylor

"I reconnected with maya and had to find Brooke and yea!" She told me excitedly.

"Okay" I gave her a kiss on the cheek

MAYA POV
Taylor and Lano are so cute together. I wish I could have a relationship with them. I thought me and Noah were perfect but he hurt me really bad. He had the nerve to cheat on me, AND IT WAS WITH MY COUSIN! I felt so dumb and I'm just starting to get over it.

LANO POV

"Well we kinda missed the movies but we can hang out at my house, watch movies, play games, chill" I said

"Yeah that sounds good" Joseph told me.

I called my Mom and asked if she could come pick us up. She arrived at the mall about 10 minutes later.

"Thanks for the ride mom" I said

"THANK YOU LANOS MOM!" Everyone said in sequence.

Taylors POV

On the ride home I asked Lano if he had any friends for Maya.

"Well what do you like in a guy Maya?" He asked her.

"Smart,charming,TALL, athletic, generous, family-oriented and just has a good all around personality. O and I prefer him to be good looking 👌😂" She explained.

"Well you have anyone in mind Lano?" I asked him.

"Actually I do, my friend Lance. He actually lives down the street from me, I've known him since 7th grade." He told us. "Maybe I can invite him over tonight." Lano said, "Ima give him a call."

LANO: Wassup fam

*listening*

LANO: well I'm having this little hang out tonight with my girl and a few other people.. can you come through?

*listening*

LANO: aight thanks man see you later tonight

"He's coming." Lano told Maya and I.

"YAYYYYYYYY MAYA GETTING A BAE!" I cheered.

"Omg how do I look" she panicked

"You look fine" I told her

I smiled, I was happy for Maya. I took a peek in the two seats behind me to check on Joseph and Madison. Madison's eyes were glued to her phone and Joseph sat there lonely. I smiled at him, he smiled back. Joseph's smile was pretty. He was actually really cute. But I love Lano! I will not let Joseph mess up my relationship it's not worth it. We pulled into Lano's driveway

"Alright guys I'm going out be responsible and stay safe." Lano's mom said. "And Taylor your mom knows your here, I'm actually having a girls night out with your mom 😂" she told me

"Alright don't party to hard ," I joked.

When Lano's mom pulled out the driveway I knew the night just begun.
