Chapter 22

TAYLOR POV
I woke up this morning doing better that I expected.. I wasn't as sad or heartbroken. I thought about what Kevin said and realized in every relationship there are going to be issues and problems, we just have to be able to move on, so I thought maybe after school id call him. I got up and got ready, it was pink out day at school so I thought I'd support the cause. I threw on some nike leggings with my pink shirt.. I threw on a pink bandanna and pink Nike elites.. I threw on my uggs Lano gave me too. I put on some pink studs and ran downstairs for breakfast. "Hey honey how you doing?" She asked, "good" I told her "okay I heard about you and Lano, I just wanted to tell you you guys were great together and you guys should try to talk it out" she said "alright thanks mom" "your welcome honey" and she gave me a hug..

At school I was bored af.. I was use to texting Lano in class. At lunch I decided I'd sit with Jordan and kevin because for some reason none of my girls were at school today .. "Hey yall" I said "hey Taylor" jordan said.. "Uh hi" kevin said. This was the first time I'd sat closer than 15 feet away from him.. "So how your u been doing?" Jordan asked.. "Hold up how everybody kno my business?" I asked him "things spread" he replied.. We sat for the rest of lunch talking and laughing.. I think kevin felt a lil awkward because it's been awhile since we actually got along but I had fun..

After school

I hopped on the bus and it dropped me off in front of my house complex.. It was only about a 2 minute walk home so I began to walk at a steady pace.. When I arrived at the door I noticed a car I didn't recognize parked in the driveway.. When I opened the door, all I heard was Mariah Carey's We Belong Together.. Then a dozen people busted out from the kitchen.. They made a aisle, and out came Lano.. He walked over to me.. We were face to face.. He grabbed what seemed to be a note out his pocket and began to read.. " I love you so very much,
Even though at times I do things that hurt,
I try so hard to hope that you always see,
How much you being in my life means to me,
I am sorry yet again for causing you pain.
That is the last thing I ever wanted to do,
Even when I am trying to look out for you and do the right thing
I mess up, I am sorry for that too.

"Omg Lano" tears began to fall from my eyes.. Jvon handed Lano this basket full of little gifts with a big teddy bear.. Lano handed it to me.. "Taylor I love you more than you can imagine, I wake up thinking about you and go to sleep thinking about you, and without you in my life, I don't think I could be the person I am now.." I looked down at the basket and saw all my favorite things.. "Lano, I love you too.." I leaned in and gave him a kiss.. Everyone around us clapped... "Aye get a room!" Eve said.. "Shutup" I replied and continued to kiss Lano.. Once we broke free I noticed all my friends and his friends were there helping support him, even my mom and his dad were there hoping we would get back together.. "So does this mean your my girl again?" Lano asked me " of course Lano, I love you, we will have ups and down but if we can work it out that will be whats most powerful about our relationship..." I told him.. He smiled.. I had remembered what Kevin told me about a relationship and how there really isn't a perfect relationship, people make mistakes.. And even though the mistakes we make may hurt each other we should be able to work things out..

THE WEEKEND DAY OF LANO'S BOXING TOURNAMENT
Lano's POV
I woke up full of energy and excitement.. Taylor was coming to see me box. The last time she was there was 2 years ago and I had a embarrassing lost.. But today I was gonna win for her.. I grabbed my boxing equipment and Threw them in my gym bag.. I just threw on some jogging pants and hoodie with my Nike rosches for the time being.. "Lano come eat!" My dad yelled "aight!" I replied and ran downstairs..

Taylor POV
Today was Lano's boxing tournament I was so excited to see him box again.. I just prayed he wouldn't get hurt to bad.. I didn't want them to mess up my bf's beautiful face. 👶 I threw on some nike capris with a shirt that said knock out.. I slid on my black Bailey bow uggs and threw on some jewelry Destiny and Chris wanted to tag along so they said they would be here at 10:00.. Right after when I got done putting my hair in a bun, the door rang and I knew immediately it was them.. "Hey girly!" Destiny said while opening the door. "Wassup Tay" Chris said. "Hey guys!" I replied.. I looked down to see they were wearing some "he's mine" and "I'm hers" shirts.. "You like them?!" Destiny asked me.. "Yea YALL cute! But you ready? Ima go get my mama from upstairs k?" I said.. "Yea we ready, ima go grab some snacks for the road tho.. " destiny replied . "Ok" and I ran upstairs.. "Mom! We ready!" I yelled "ok honey lettme grab my shoes" my mom replied.. She ran downstairs when she was ready.. "Ok YALL ready?" She asked.. "Yea.." We all replied. We hopped in the car and fight night by migos was on... We began to sing the song "hit it with left hit it with the right ima knock that, out like fight night!" After 30 minutes we finally arrived at the tournament.. We hopped out the car and went inside.. Chris offered to buy the tickets for us they were $10 each.. After we got are tickets we looked around for Lano.. "Taylor!" I looked around to see Lano waving at me.. He ran over and gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.. "When do you fight?" I asked him.. "In about a hour but just in case I got here early.. " he replied.. "I want you to meet my friend I train with though.." He said "alright" I replied... We followed Lano.. "Guys this is my friend Phoniex he's gonna be boxing today too.. And Phoniex this is my girlfriend Taylor her cousin Destiny and her boyfriend Chris.. O and this is Taylor's mom Mrs. Brown.." We all said hi to each other. "Well your girlfriend is beautiful Lano" Phoniex said.. "Thanks" I replied.. Phoniex was lightskin with brown eyes.. He was cute but Lano was so much better looking than him... We went to sit down while chris and destiny went to get some snacks for us.. My mom went to sit by Lano's mom they talked and laughed.. "I'm tired." I told Lano.. I had stayed up late inviting people to a little party for Lano at this arcade.. "Lay on me then.." Lano said. I rested my head on him.. He kissed my forehead.. I grabbed my phone and began to listen to music I gave him a earbud and he listened with me.. After 20 minutes Lano told me he was about to fight.. So I got up and walked with him over to the locker room so he can change (no she did not go inside).. I waited for him outside the locker room.. After 5 minutes he walked out with no shirt on.. All I could do was stare.. Lano began to laugh "give me my shirt before you start drooling". I reached in his gym bag and threw him his shirt.. He quickly put it on.. "Ready?" I asked.. Lano pulled me in for a long kiss "ima win this for you ok?" He told me "ok, and when you do I'll be right over there waiting for you" I replied. And we walked back over to the ring..
