"I've an expert at silencing myself"
Peters days had become very repetetive.
He got up for work, got ready, went to work, saw MJ, cried, spidermaned, and then went to "sleep" ("more like not HA" insomnia) and then started the day again. Well one day that all changed, he didnt know it then but he knows it now.
Peter had just left work and was walking home. He was of course listening for crime just in case and when he heard that familiar sound of a police car he dashed into an alleyway and changed into his suit. He knows its not the smartest thing to do, but where else was he suppose to change?
As he arrived at the crime scene he could tell it wasn't the usual, the whole crime scene was a crater and everything was covered in an acidic like goo. And right in the middle of the crater was a tall figure. They were covered in a black robe with, their face was masked with a black mesh and in their hand was this staff. The staff was black but glowing purple.
Peter ran towards the figure but all the figure did was slam its staff onto the ground and the figure was gone.
Not knowing what else he could do he sampled some of the acid, made sure no one was hurt and swung back "home."
Peter wasn't a csi and he didn't have a lot of tech but he used his mind and resources to try and figure out what this "acid" was. He had to be super careful with it however because anything it touched it would destroy. The only thing that seemed to not be eaten was his webbing. It seemed like his webbing wasn't affected by the acid other than it weakening it a little bit.
Peter made a ball of webbing around the acid and put it in a container hoping it would stay.
Now the next question is who or what was that person in the crater?
"The acid worked"
"I'm glad you liked it, because I made a sh*t ton of it"
