you shake your head, no. this was the right decision.
you take a deep breath, you also wonder how you're going to tell inosuke, zenitsu and tanjiro.
they had all been on missions and you couldn't manage to get all there together at one time, so it was hard to tell them.
but now you were making your way back to the butterfly mansion, it was monday and you only had like a day until the announcement.
you rub your head as you step inside, only to find all three boys chatting together.
tanjiro smiles, "[name]!"
the other two boys also turn to you, zenitsu giggles "[name]-chan~"
you take a seat in front of them, avoiding their eyes.
"uhm.. i need to talk to you guys.."
they all look at you, you look down, thinking of how to tell them.
"uhm... imbecomingahashira" you say quickly.
tanjiro and insouke looks t you in confusion, but zenitsu eyes nearly busprst out of their sockets, "haaah?! what?!!!" he screams.
tanjiro turns to him, "what, what is it?!"
you sigh, "i'm.. becoming a hashira.."
tanjiro looks at you in shock before smiling brightly, "woah!! that's so cool!"
you look at him in shock, "you're.. not mad..?"
he looks at you in confusion, "why would i be mad?"
you look to the side.
inosuke sits still for a moment before cackling and jumping up, "that means you're strong! let's fight! fight me!!"
zenitsu cries, "no~!! if you're a hashira you're not going to spend any time with us" he cries out.
you look between the three in shock before smiling happily, glad they're not upset at you.
