It was the day of the festival and the emosquad was making its big debut.

It took a bit of debating between the group on who would sing what, how many songs and who was writing.

Despite all of this though, they were ready. they had decided that todoroki would be the main singer and for the first song, it would be more of an introduction than anything.

Todoroki glanced around at his group of emos as he clasped his hands around the mic, ready to take it off when needed.

Each member nodded at each other, and Todoroki felt himself smiling. He did love his group.

He took a breath before signalling to them to start the music.

A low organ sound started to play, catching the attention of everyone who had gathered to watch them play.

The start had an eerie feel as the stage was enveloped in a strange glow.

None of the members were visible, albeit the soft silhouette of their features.

and then an electronic beat started to play, the light evening out and becoming stronger so that you could see each member clearer.

At the mic was todoroki, behind him was shinso, to his left tokoyami and shoji who were practically glued at the hip, to his right jirou and somewhere in the back hidden in the shadows (which dark shadow had been so glad to make) was momo.

Each member was being creepy in their own way. Jirou had her earplugs elongated (is that how it works?) and twirling around her, making wisps of white around her. Tokoyami looked like he was a shadow, half-covered in darkness (again thanks to dark shadow) making it look like he was only half there. Literally. Shoji had his arms spread and flapping in a way that a cold draft continued to breeze over the crowd. Shinso's scarf was floating around him making him look downright menacing. Momo, like previously stated, was covered in shadows so you literally couldn't see her lest not you were in a very specific spot near the side of the stage where she hid.

For a couple of seconds, there was only music making the crowd feel a bit antsy.

And then there was singing.

"We're back at it, at it again. Here for the kill, not here to make friends."

'Kill?' The crowd, apart from 1A who knew of the emosquad and the aesthetic, was slightly confused.

They were also wondering who the hell was singing. The only one with a mic visible was Todoroki and he hasn't spoken a word.

As I said, you literally couldn't see momo from where the crowd was.

"Don't try, forfeit your life, " suicide "all alone no alibis." what did they commit murder?

"Don't stand there." the unnamed singer warned slightly chastising, "stay on the move. You're the prey but you're not food. Without a challenge, it's no fun. It's not over till I say we're done. "

She finished, still in the shadows.

And then quite quickly, Todoroki started to sing.

"Feel the groove. Feel the groove. Feel the groove. Feel the groove. Keep moving. Keep moving. Keep moving. Keep moving. "

At that, the members who weren't singing started to move.

Jirou started to pirouette slowly, a move that she had learned just for the performance. Her movements were choppy and robotic to an extent.

The other three boys minus Todoroki started to walk around in a robot-like manner.

Todoroki had a slightly maniacal look as he grabbed the mic off the stand and started to walk to the edge of the stah=ge. From there he knelt onto one knee and gave the crowd an odd look.

"So listen closely if you want to make it through the night" for some reason his mismatched eyes seemed to glow much brighter than normal.

"My friends, they have their ways to find you, just don't let them bite. You cannot make it through these nights without my help." ok, it was safe to say that this was not what the crowd had expected from the squad. They sounded like they were about to murder someone.

"Place your trust in me, you have no one else" for some reason this line sounded low-key manipulative.

The lights began to flicker as though someone was blocking them from working. The scary part was how each member's eyes would glow every time the light went out.

Jirou then stopped her pirouettes, looking slightly dizzy, and took a step forward, paying attention to her.

Todoroki gestured to her.

"Kyoka, she can hear. So keep your voice down.'' Jirou then took a step back, but not before letting her earphones give a sudden burst and hurtle into the crowds' direction, mimicking an eel or a snake, before returning to their previous position twirling in a fake halo around her head. She then returned to her jerky looking pirouettes.

Tokoyami then made his way closer to the crowd, followed by shoji.

Todoroki introduced the two by saying: "Fumikage, well let's just say, " at this Todoroki stopped and raised his hands and made a smooth motion of what could be described as a short circuit. "He likes to play games"

Shoji put his weight on tokoyami, his arms occupied.

Todoroki nodded at Shoji and jerked his thumb at the white-haired boy.

"Shoji helps keep him calm. When out of order."

As the couple stepped back, the lights began to flicker even more, for longer intervals.

There was a white snake of light that kept appearing and disappearing around the stage, getting closer to the audience each time.

"Foxy's there all along. In the dark, so" at that flash appeared right at the edge of the stage, scaring the crap out of everyone in the front rows.

"Feel the groove. Feel the groove. Feel the groove. Feel the groove. Keep moving. Keep moving. Keep moving. Keep moving.'' He continued to repeat this like a mantra, finally getting up from where he was, opting to move around the stage with the rest of the band, not necessarily dancing but moving. He placed the mic back onto the stand.

For a while there was music. It turned down a bit and finally, momo came out of the shadows, once again scaring the crap out of the audience.

"I feel like you are not trusting me enough and. I know what's right, I will guide you safely through this night. And though it's true I kidnapped you"

The one thought going through the crowd's mind was 'ok what the hades. Are these really the heroes of the new generation?'

"Please know it was for your own good. I've kept you hidden, now night four can begin, begin. Now night four can-. Now night four can-. Now I can begin. Knowing it's true, I can begin. I can't knock you, safely. Safely, please know. Safely, safely. You are not trusting me enough. Trust me enough. You are not trusting me enough" she continued to cut herself off.

She stopped singing and stepped back. The rest of the group slowly stopped their dance, jirou having to lean heavily on momo, thoroughly exhausted.

The ravenette smiled at her girlfriend and wrapped an arm around the girl.

The band all stepped into a line and gave a bow.

Eyyy im updating again. I left this for like a month. Im really sorry. I have a 3000 something word update coming eventually. Im up to 2000 words and i was struggling for motivation. Thank you for being so kind.
