21. Kill

"Hello, my son-in-law."My father greeted Draco before giving him a small smile but hidden fear in his smile.

"Father, please don't call him that, it sounds--"

"Hello, father-in-law," Draco said and stared at my father with powerful and fearless eyes.

My father stared at Draco, swallowing his saliva and taking a few steps back.

"Aren't you going to invite the two of us into the house?"Draco asked, raising one eyebrow.

"I--I'm sorry...Come in."My father hurriedly opened the door wider before he and Sebastian quickly backed away from the door.

Draco turned his face to stare at me before speaking.

"Let's go in."

"Yeah, let's go in."I smiled at him, tangling my fingers with his fingers.

"Eww," Sebastian said softly and looked at us with disgust.

"Shut up."I hissed before quickly dragging Draco into the house.

"Evan, I think I need to buy--EEEEK!"

As Draco and I entered the house, Scarlett turned towards us before she screamed in shock and stumbled, falling to the ground. 

"D--Devil...Get out! Get out of here!" Scarlett yelled loudly and frantically crawled away. 

I watched her crawl around and sighed hard. 

"Get the fuck out of here!"Scarlett yelled like crazy and threw things at us, but luckily none of the things she threw didn't hit us.

 "Get out! Get the fuck--" 

"Stop, Scarlett!!" My father shouted, interrupting her frantic yelling. 

Scarlett stopped crawling around and stared at my father disapprovingly. 

"Pathetic."Draco sneered and looked at Scarlett with contemptuous eyes. 

"Well, I don't want him here, I disgust him, he was a nasty devil, he attacked me at--" 

"Father, can we talk about the business we want to talk about? I'm too lazy to listen to the nonsense Scarlett says, and I don't want to be here either...I disgust Scarlett as much as she disgusts my husband." I said with my eyes fixed on Scarlett. 

"This is my wife." Draco accidentally chuckled. 

 I don't know where I got so much courage, but when I faced my family this time, I didn't feel scared of my family at all, I just felt like I had to protect Draco from them. 

"I hate--" 

"Can we start talking errands? If you don't talk errands I'm going home now." I quickly interrupted Scarlett.

 "O--Okay, okay, let's talk in the living r--room."My father stammered as his gaze stared at Draco in fear before he and Sebastian rushed towards the living room. 

"You and your husband are both disgusting, get ou--" 

"Shut up your rotten mouth, Scarlett...If you still want my husband's money to pay for your fucking wedding, shut up and sit here. Don't mess with me in the living room."I said with a fierce voice. 

"But I--"

 "Don't mess with me in the living room, okay?"I asked, furrowing my brows in frustration. 

Scarlett gave a displeasure grunt in her nose before she looked at her wedding dress hanging by the coat rack beside the door. 

"Hurry up and talk to your father in the living room. I don't want to see the two of you." Scarlett rolled her eyes before turning to look the other way.
