It's been a week since the event and Anastasia barely came out of her room.
In the meantime I looked more into Henry, with Micah's help. His full name is Henry Popov and him and Anastasia dated for a while, at her fathers request. It was pretty easy getting this bit of information, since Sofia Petrov, Anastasias best friend talked about it so willingly.
She also told me that things ended up pretty badly between the two of them, and that it's Anastasias story to tell in such detail, not hers and I respect that.
But I just hate the way things are right now. I felt like my relationship with Anastasia was finally getting better and now everything went to shit. We might never be a couple, but if we'll be stuck in this marriage we might at least get along.
The thing that keeps bugging me is why would her dad bring Henry there knowing he caused her so much pain.
Besides this whole thing, the Mexicans are quiet. For now.
I'm currently siting on the couch and it's too quiet. Anastasia didn't talk a lot when we 'spent' time, but she would constantly complain about something I did, and it's cute.
Fuck it. I get up and walk upstairs towards her room. I knock on the door "Go away" she shouts from the other side. "Look, I know he hurt you, but you just can't stay in this room for the rest of you life". "Who told he hurt me" she asks, but then I hear mumble the answer to her own question. 'Fucking Sofia'. I twist the door knob a bit "Don't come in I'm naked" she shouts.
Seriously, can't she find a better excuse. I twist the knob all the way and open the door, to find Anastasia tucked in her bed, wearing a hoodie. Her eyes are red and puffy.
"I told you I'm naked" she tells me. "You really couldn't come up with a better excuse could you" I ask her and I sit down on the side of the bed.
"Why would your dad bring him there, if he knows how much pain he caused you?". "I haven't had a conversation father daughter with him in weeks" she confesses and I can hear the pain in her voice.
"What happened between you and Henry, if you don't mind me asking". "No it's fine I really have to take this off my chest or else I would spend another week in this room".
TW: And so she told me how he physically abused her, how she was fine with it for a while, because she thought he loved her, how the moment she said no, he beat her up and left her.
As she finishes the story I see her eyes are glossy, and without even thinking I hug her and she just stays still.
For a second I think I ruined it again, but she wraps her arms around my neck, fisting my white shirt "I hate him so much" she says through her sobs and I gently rub her back.
I'm still held aback a bit, of the fact that she actually told me.
We stay there for a while. Until Anastasia stops crying "I'm gonna take a shower" she says getting up, heading for the bathroom and I leave her room soon after.
𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗔 𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗧
As I shower I keep thinking why the fuck did I tell Lorenzo all of that, it's not like he deserves to know. But it felt so heavy keeping it to myself. Not even Sofia or my parents know it in such detail, but seeing him after all these years flipped a switch in my brain and I just had to take the whole story off my chest.
After I'm done showering I get dressed, I choose a black sports bra and some beige biker shorts.
When I go downstairs I see Lorenzo waiting at the end of the stairway "You cleaned up nicely" I roll my eyes and he rolls his eyes. Arrogant fucker.
"Any sign of the Mexicans?". "Nothing, it's like they don't even exist" he says walking into the living room and I follow him.
"Wanna watch a movie?" he asks me and I don't know how to answer. It feels weird.
I think about it for a second and realize I have nothing better to do. "Yea sure" I finally tell him and he looks surprised.
He puts on Superman and I don't complain since it's the one with Henry Cavill and girl the way that man got me feeling.

We are about half an hour into the movie when Micah barges in.

Anastasia is starting to oh so slowly warm up to Lorenzo and I'm here for it. It's so hard to keep the slow burn going every time I write in Lorenzos pov since he is so attracted by Anastasia. Anywayyy what do you guys think Micah has to say? What did he find out?
