Chapter 1 Training the untrained

It had been 12 years since being taken from their homes and out of the millions that had been taken few has survived.
Suicide was the main cause of death.
But the one's that did survive, no trace of the soft toddlers they'd picken up were left now each were like a soldier.
Each troublemakers.
Especially a special 2 know by their teammates and commanders as partners in crime.
Both children had been trained in something that had made them the perfect team.
Levi had been taught how to hack computers, falsify papers, even hack into government files.
Shayne had been taught martial arts and had become a black belt in karate, he was a pro at sniping. Basically he was the strength and Levi the brains.

The battlefield had engulfed in flames from the spells and bombs exploding.
Shayne stepped out of all the smoke and ashes he wore a red shirt with a strap that went around his chest arms and back which held his weapons. He also had a long brown coat with black pants and boots.
Levi watched from a distance his green eyes watching his partner.
But he wasnt the only one watching.
More of the enemys soldiers, creatures and majik users flooded out of the hills.
Even through the ones Shayne had killed they had more.
Shaynes dark majik flowed round him and his weapon of choice, a blade was created.
The battlefield, once filled with the battle screams of warriors now filled with slicing and the spilling of blood.
A eerie silence followed as each corpse was forgotten along with the person that corpse had once was.
As Shayne was the last one standing with nicks and cuts along his coat and back.
None ever to severe.
As whipped the blade once to get the blood off.
He rembered something his mentor had told him when he was young.
"WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGHT".

Shayne looked to the sky and though of the ones he's killed and the ones he's lost.

Shaking away his thoughts Shayne teleported back to base.
As usual Levi was waiting for him.
As they walked to their dorms Levi was explaining how they were halfway to finding out the enemys motives.
This war had been going on to long.
Levi watched as Shayne collapsed in his bed after kicking off his boots and shrugging off his coat.
"Oi Shayne" the almost asleep Shayne grumbled a "hmm?" And peeked a eye open to look at Levi.
"Corporal wants you to be careful"
With a wave of his hand Shayne rolled over
"Yah I get it get"
"No Shayne we're serious your to important of a soldier to loose".
Shayne rolled back over to look at Levi.
"Dont you ever get tired of being a pawn, of kissing the kings feet and doing his dirtwork"?
This was one of Shayne's special talents. Intimidation.
He could morph his words into venom, and they stung worse than getting bit by a black mamba snake.
Levi sighed "Shayne listen, we've received word from other groups like blue angelz, some of their strongest have been missing for almost two months! "
He heared light snoring as he finished.
Damn that brat fallin asleep on me
Letting out another tiresome sigh Levi got up and removed Shayne's weapons and strap and pulled the blanket up.
Shayne looked half decent while asleep.
He almost looked.......well..cute.
His dark eye lashes hinting and adding a glowing look to his skin.
Levi shook his head they were both guys. Why was he thinking this?
A knock on the door interrupted him and dragged him out of his thoughts.
"Enter".
The neighbors from 2 dorms down
Nathan and Hannah came in followed by our across from neighbors Jack and Russel.
They looked worried.
Nathan gulped "Commander wants to see You and Shayne.....and us".
Levi sighed if they woke Shayne up know he wouldn't fall asleep again for the rest of the night.
He picked Shayne up on his shoulders his hands holding him up between his knees and thighs.
Levi draped his arms around his shoulders.
"Lets go"
Hopefully Shayne woke up by the time they got to the commanders office.
Sadly he woke up sooner.
By the time they were in the Commanders office Shayne was full awake and grumpy. And when Shaynes grumpy he gets snappy and a whole lotful of attitude.
Levi knocked on the door.
"Enter" all 6 entered only 5 were nervous 1 was just plain grumpy.
Commander cleared his throat.
"I have a mission......for all three of you." He waited to see our reactions then continued.
"There have been sightings and rumors of a agency planning to overthrow us."
He paused seemigly to choose his words.
"We can do this the dreaded way or the half n half"?
"Half n half"they said in sync.
"Okay Shayne you will be the personal soldeir of the leader, Erwin.
Levi you will be one of their 'scientist's' and supposed to be giving them info while giving us info instead,
Nathan and Hannah will be their weaponary specialists, make sure all weapons fall apart. Jack and Russel are to be new recruits. I will explain no more now go and pack."

Next day
Levis POV
I hated the idea of being separated from Shayne, I mean like were brothers, partners in fact and that Erwin guy is reallly weird as in kidnaps prettyboys and rapes them weird.
Wait he might actually do that?
No no no stop being paranoid
But still watch out it looked like that Erwin was checking out Shayne's ass.
My job was nice but I couldn't stop thinking about that Erwin perv.
At lunch break I searched and finally found Shayne eating at a random table with some people laughing.
Butttt then I noticed I wasn't the only one watching Shayne.
I think I was being paranoid again cause the way I saw it Erwin wanted to rip Shayne's clothes off right then and there and take him.
I shook my head dismissing those thoughts.

A blaring alarm went off and the speakers sounded
"All soldiers report to the auditorium Master Erwin and Soldier#103 Shayne get into gear"
I watched as Shayne left for battle. Watching was going to be interesting.
