---------------
Haru's POV
---------------

(Apartment, 6:00am. Saturday.)

Too early... I can't even fall back asleep...

I've been trying to go back asleep. I literally woke up at 5:50am, and I'm trying all the methods to make me tired again, but nothing works.

...

I thought of something to kill some time. I cleaned up my bed, which wakes up Tako. She's probably mad at me because it's still early from the way she's glaring at me.

Haru: I'm sorry, Tako. I'm a bit of an early bird today.

Tako stretched her body, yawning, then she laid down again on her bed, going to sleep once again.

I sighed, and then go outside of my room. It seems like Tako's still feeling drowzy.

I went into the kitchen in search for breakfast. It seems like we're gonna be wandering around downtown once again...

(An hour later...)

I've made breakfast, but I didn't realize Tako was already there, waiting for her food. Maybe the sound of the cooking woke her up completely...

I gave her food and we both ate together. I just felt the need to mention that in this story because it's cute~

Anyways... I've played and messed with Tako for awhile until 7am. I would want to let her see the world, but she's scared. Even when my brother is still alive, we couldn't get her to go outside.

Well... When we first saw her, she looks like those random cats on the street. A bit dirty because of them trying to survive. My father found her, and we took care of her. I was 12 when Tako came into our life. I remembered she was still a little kitten. Her being scared outside is still a mystery to us. I don't even wanna think about the possibilities, because most of them are hurtful.

...

After that, I did my daily routine, and went to my couch, laying on it, and take my phone up to watch some videos.

It's always like this. I'd just wait for time to pass, mess around with my phone until I feel like going out.

...

(Apartment, 8:45am.)

I turned off my phone and stood up, stretching my body.

I grabbed all the things I need, say my goodbye to Tako and went out of the door.

I was thinking of going downtown, so I can wander a little bit.

...

(Downtown, 9:00am.)

It's still lively as ever, mostly kids running around while their parents, mostly mothers, either watch them from afar, or trying to catch them.

Mother, huh... Must be nice...

The last time I heard about my mother is that my father said that she cheated on him just after my brother's death. How nice...

Now I'm left with this feeling that my mother was only staying because of my brother.
