I sat on the bed, my heart was beating fast. I don't know what to do. Xavier said to be in room.

I was looking around not knowing what to do. I hear someone open the door I flinched and moved back quickly. I saw a girl coming inside . She looked at me and smiled. She quickly ran towards me.

"Hey Luna. " Luna? Why is she calling me Luna .

" I am Jessica. Nice to meet you. " She said. I didn't do anything just stared at her. She started walking towards me. I panicked.

She stood just few feets away. She looked at me and smiled. " Luna, you are soo beautiful. " She said.

Beautiful? I am not beautiful. Dad said , I am ugly. What should I do?

" Luna do you need anything ? Are you hungry? " She asked. I shook my head .

After that she started asking me few more questions. I just nodded my head. Suddenly the door bursted and furious Xavier entered. My heart started to beat fast.

He looked angry. He looked at me for sometime and looked back at Jessica. Jessica quickly got up and went outside.

No, don't go. I was really started to like her. She was so charming. I looking up and Xavier. I started panicking thinking that he will hit me. Tears started to form in my eyes.

"Little one, why are you crying? " He asked .

I looked at him. He sighed and said.

" Now, stop crying no one is going to hurt you. I won't let anyone hurt you. " He said. He brought his hand closer to my face. I flinched and moved back.

He took his hands back quickly and said, " I am going out, I will be back in an hour. " He said and went out .

He said , he won't let anyone hurt me. Why did he say that?

I don't understand what should I do. After sometime, I got up and went towards the window and opened it. I looked out of window . Oh. We were on like 5 or 6 floor.

I looked around I saw many houses, trees, a river. So beautiful. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I started at the forest and saw some of the warriors entering.

What are they doing here? Shouldn't they be on the border.

I saw the man, I saw today morning. I think his name was...... Max.

He is always with Xavier, I think he is beta of the pack. The power he holds , only beta can have such power, if its not Alpha. Pack members are really afraid of him. They always bow their head whenever they see Max.

The warriors were very nervous. I watched them till they got out of my sight.

I was getting nervous and afraid as the time passed. I stared at the wall thinking about my mom. After some time my eyes started to close and darkness consumed.

I quickly opened my eyes as I heard someone calling me. I was expecting a punch or slap from my father. I closed my eyes tightly.

" Little one. " I slowly opened my eyes and saw Xavier.

Oh my god. I was sleeping on his bed. He would be angry. I panicked and stood up quickly. I looked at Xavier with wide eyes.

When dad used to beat me, it used to hurt a lot. Xavier was much bigger than my dad. What if he hits me. It will hurt a lot.

Xavier looked at me. I quickly moved at the corner of the room and whimpered.
