I woke up feeling very weak. My head started to hurt a lot .

I closed my eyes tightly. I jumped and panicked when I heard someone.

" Luna. " Someone said.

I panicked and moved little back.

I slowly opened my and blinked few times to adjust with the brightness.

I saw a lady standing in front of me. She wore a white coat.

Doctor.

She was doctor . I looked around and saw my one hand was attached to something.

What am I doing here? I panicked and moved back. Tears started to form in my eyes.

" Luna, don't be afraid. I am here to help you . " She said.

Help me? But why?

I looked at her with teary eyes. She slowly moved towards me.

" Luna, I am Dr. Grey. " She said.

I didn't do anything just kept looking at her.

" You can call me Grey . " She said.

She was beautiful and had brown eyes. Her hairs were long.

" Do you feel pain anywhere? " She asked.

Pain? I didn't say anything. My heart started to beat fast.

She asked me few more question. But I didn't answer her. She sighed and walked out of the room.

I sighed as she left. But now I am alone here. I tried to remember what happened. My eyes widen when I remembered , I fainted when Xavier was talking to me.

He was going to hit me . He must be angry . I shivered. But where was Xavier?

I was in my own thoughts, suddenly I heard the door being opened.

Dr. Grey walked inside. I saw Xavier, he was behind her. He looked at me and smiled a little.

I quickly looked away. Dr. Grey came towards me , I moved back.

" Don't be afraid, luna. " She said and smiled.

She did some check up. I am sure she saw the wounds and scars , but she didn't say anything.

She told me to open my mouth. I slowly opened it . She did some check up and moved back. She smiled and said.

" Luna , Are you hungry? Do you need anything to eat? " She asked. I slowly nodded my head.

She walked towards Xavier. They talked about something and Dr. Grey walked out.

Now, it was only me and Xavier.

He walked towards me and I shivered. He came and saw on the chair which was near the bed.

" Little one, are you ok?" He asked. I just nodded my head slowly but didn't look at him. I heard him sigh.

" You know, mates are suppose to take care of each other, to protect each other, to love each other. " He said.

I looked at him.

" You are my mate, little one and future Luna of this pack. No one is going to hurt you. I will protect you, the pack will protect you. If anyone hurts you I am going to make him or her regret it. " He said.

He is going to protect me? He is my mate. I saw in my old pack that mates used to love each other, take care of each other.

Will Xavier take care of me? Love me?
