Author's Note:

Hai, guys! This is really short, so don't worry.

I just wanted to let you readers know that this is my first Captain Swan Fanfiction. If it goes good, I might end up writing more. In addition, if I misspell or write any mistakes, feel free to comment. Thanks!

Additional Information: The story leaves off after Hook kisses Emma at her apartment, trying to regain her memories.

Emma slammed the door shut, leaning against the frame.

"Who was that man?" She repeated over in her head.

Emma pressed her fingers to her lips, feeling a bit of warmth still radiating from the kiss.

Although she pushed the oddly dressed man away, she couldn't help but smile when she replayed the scene in her mind.

Emma was interrupted by Henry, "Everything okay Mom? Who was that?"

"Yeah, I'm fine kid...just an old friend." Emma stated bluntly, as nothing had happened.

She walked over, sitting down on the chair. After 5 minutes of staring at the fluffy, white, cream topped on her hot chocolate, Emma looked at the clock.

"Shoot! C'mon, kid," she addressed, "we better hurry or you're gonna be late."

Henry grabbed his bag, practically shoving the last of the bacon in his mouth. Emma scurried after Henry, eventually reaching the sidewalk that led to the school.

"I'll pick you up later. Have a good day!" Emma shouted to Henry as he walked off.

On her way back home, Emma spotted the man who kissed her this morning at the docks. He looked lonely, not to mention probably freezing. The temperature was below 20°F.

She slowly approached him, and before she could even think about it, words were tumbling out of her mouth.

"You must be freezing. Do you have a place to stay?" Emma asked out of curiosity.

"Not anymore, love,"

Emma was hoping he did, but she couldn't stop the words once they came out, "We have a spare bedroom. Maybe you could stay until you find a place?"

Hook gladly took Emma up on her offer.

"Aye, love. Sounds great."

Emma gave a sweet smile, "Great...Oh, I never caught your name."

"That's because I didn't give it to you." Hook grinned with a smirk on his face.

Back at Emma's apartment:

Hook was on the couch, while Emma was making hot chocolate for the two. She approached, handing him a cup.

"Cinnamon?" He asked curiously.

"Oh, sorry," her cheeks flushed, "Just a little touch of mine."

Hook gave a little smile, taking a sip of the liquid. Emma noticed a small amount of whip cream residue left near the corner of his lip. She couldn't help but to stare at his crimson, red lips, until Hook finally noticed.

"Like what you see, love?" He gave a devilish smirk.

Emma's cheeks flushed red, looking away instantly, "N-no. You just had some cream on your lip."

She leaned in, wiping it off. However, she wanted so badly to kiss him. Although she knew what would happen then. It was always the same. Everyone she knew had always abandoned her. That's why she put up walls.
