chapter 5

Hawks's POV:
I woke up next to dabi surprisingly he was cuddling me, I didn't knew he's such a softie, I looked at him as I sat up but still on his bed while he was in deep sleep, I swinged my legs off the bed and stood up trying to to wake him up while I walk to the door, it was locked /ah shit, I guess I'll stay here then/ I said to myself inside of my thoughts as I just sat on the floor watching my phone messages, suddenly I saw a message from enji, who was looking for me

"Oi hawks, where the fuck are you?"
6:57 pm, yesterday.

I stressed out because I haven't replied to enji since yesterday's evening, I fucked up, but I replied to him immediately as I saw the message

"Oh hey big guy, I just had a sleepover with a friend of mine, don't worry, I will be at your agency by the afternoon"

I sent him as Immediately saw he had read my messages while he typed something, I panicked but I tried to stay silent since Dabi was still asleep and I was locked here until he wakes up, I received a message from enji again

"Are you out of your mind!? Do you know what the hero commission will do if they find out you were off your patrol and work?"

I just left him on read as I closed my messages and opened other app to watch some movies, I plugged my headphones in so Dabi won't hear anything as I sat there watching them.

*Time skip*

Dabi's POV:
I woke up seeing hawks sitting on the floor watching some boring movies with his headphones on, I tapped his shoulder as he flinched and looked at me

"Hey there sleepyhead"

I frowned at him with a slight groan after he called me that as I sat up looking at him pretty pissed, he just shrugged and continued to mind his business, I unlocked my bedroom door so he can leave, but he decided to stay? I was surprised but mad that he won't leave my room, I sighed and grabbed his headphones

"Oi birdie, the door unlocked, you can leave"

"Ah, don't yell in my ear, and I'll go by the afternoon, not yet"

I just slammed my hand on my forehead and walked out of the room to the bar, kurogiri already was there making some stuff, I wasn't sure what he was doing but it wasn't my business, I just asked him for a drink as he slipped me a cup of coffee, I sipped it and then looked at kurogiri

"No sugar? What's the matter today kurogiri?"

"It's nothing, really, I'll put sugar in your coffee immediately, sir"

I sighed knowing something was off with him, he usually never forgets to put sugar in my coffee, hm, I wonder what's going on with him today, but I rather not to put my nose in something that may cause me troubles, I already had enough.
Kurogiri returns with the sugar as he dropped a small spoon of it into my coffee.

"Here you go sir"

"Don't call me sir kurogiri, I'm not shigaraki and his stupid leadership stuff"

"Alright, sorry"

I just nodded and sipped my coffee as I saw hawks walking out of my room as he stretched his wings open and a lot of feathers flew on the floor/Jesus, this bird needs to clean up his feathers more often/ I thought to myself as I knew shigaraki would be mad, but it's not my problem anymore, he's the one who wanted that chicken in here.
I finally sat down on a stool near the bar as I tried to ignore hawks but he came to me and hugged me from behind.

"Hey there, had a good rest?"

"Get off me, bitch"

I hated public affection, and it was only one night stand with him, why he's acting like we're a couple, ugh, I pushed hawks from me as he dropped on the floor, I tried not to laugh on how weak he is, I then turned to the bar table and pulled out my phone while checking the messages, /no messages like usual/ I sighed as I stood up, I haven't finished even my coffee yet as I walked to the bathroom seeing my hair dye slowly disappearing, I panicked knowing hawks will realize immediately if he will see my white hair showing off, so I rushed out of the hideout to buy some hair dye without hawks noticing me as I walked outside to the store.

Hawks's POV:
I just heard Dabi walking out of the hideout within a second, seem to be in rush somewhere, well, it doesn't really bother me, I sat on their couch waiting for shigaraki to let me go already, but shigaraki wasn't any near by, I watched kurogiri working and minding his business and slightly fell asleep on the couch, it wasn't comfortable but I had no other choice since I was too lazy to stand up, so I fell asleep on the couch, while my wings spread on the whole couch while I was sleeping on my back, lightly snoring.
Kurogiri walked up to me as he picked me up and placed me onto Dabi's bed, as I immediately felt more comfortable.
Dabi's bed was soft and big, surprising for a guy like him, just like touya, a though guy on the outside but soft on the inside.
/Ah goddamn, why am I thinking of touya again/ all of this memories came up to me while I was sleeping, I couldn't really remember much of the happening, but I remember only one thing, me and touya was running in a playground park near his father's house, and I found a tree with little baby birds in a nest, we picked them up, touya helped me, since I couldn't really control my wings this days, as for the first time, we both felt what is like to be a parents, after that slight flashback dream, I woke up seeing Dabi besides me sitting over his desktop on a black office chair which looked like he had this chair for many years already, slightly broken and ripped off.

Dabi's POV:
I came back to the hideout with the black hair dye and walked to the bathroom to re-dye my hair again, after I finished all the process, I dried my hair and walked to my bedroom seeing hawks asleep on my bed, probably either he walked himself here, or kurogiri brought him here, I kinda enjoyed seeing him sleeping so cutely, I sat by my desk on my pretty old office chair as I worked on some paperwork shigaraki gave me, it was targets to kill and which ones I would've rather to kill, the other ones toga gets, so I filled them as hawks woke up, I heard him, but didn't paid attention as he spoke.

"Oh hey there, whatcha doing?"

"None of your.. ugh, filling paperwork shigaraki gave me to fill"

"Oh, okay!"

I knew hawks wouldn't stop asking me if I didn't gave him right away the answer, so I just told him, not like he's gonna do something with it, I finished filling them and walked up to hawks.

"Hey I need to talk about something with you, bird brain"

"Yeah sure, what is it?"

"Well.."
