Beauty and Blood

1. Normality

My life would be changed forever in a matter of hours.

It was morning. I woke from my bed and turned off my alarm. Just like every other boring school morning. I was 11 and attended primary at Meadows Ridge Primary. I lived in Yorkshire with my mum, dad and brother, who was 15 and would've been seen a total annoyance to me, but wasn't as he mainly sticked to himself and didn't really bother me that much.

It was a Thursday like any other Thursday, I got up, got dressed and went to school. If I described what happened there you might be so bored you would drop this book and fall asleep; so let's get to the action...

I was having a sleepover with my best friend Milly, and we were in bed, about to go to sleep. We had had lots of sweets so we couldn't really get to bed, although we were trying. It was 11:00 when it happened. When my life was turned upside down.

first chapter done! I know it's short, next chapter coming straight after, I just wanted to be able to publish the first bit.
