Nandini was getting ready in her room with Ishani for her mehendi ceremony.
"Nandu...tune kya socha hai? Kab batayegi tu Manik ko sach?" Ishani asked.
"Bata dungi Ishani....tu toh piche hi par gayi hai." Nandini grumbled.
"Kyunki har rishte ki neev bharosa hota hai. Agar Manik ko kisi aur tareeke se paata chalega to problem hoga na?" Ishani replied.
"Ab main tujhe kaise bataun ki Manik aur Mera koi rishta hi nahi hai...jab rishta nahi hai toh bharose ka toh sawal hi nahi aata na." Nandini sighed in defeat. "Lekin I guess mujhe aaj Manik ko sab sach bata dena chahiye...usse toh koi farak nahi parega but at least tu piche pari nahi rahegi."
"Hi guys." Kritika entered the room, all dressed. "Oh wow....meri choti behen toh bohot khubsoorat lag rahi hai aaj."
Ishani rolled her eyes as she could sense the fakeness but Nandini smiled genuinely happy her sister complimented her.
"Thanks Di....aap bhi bohot achi lag rahi hai."
"Obviously." Kritika flipped her hair.
"Ishu...mujhe pyas lagi hai. Tu niche paani le aayegi?" Nandini said, trying to get Ishani to leave the room.
"Haan bas abhi laayi."
After Ishani left, Nandini turned to Kritika. "Di...I dont feel right doing this. Sab ko aise dokha dena mujhe pasand nahi hai."
"Oh GOD Nandini." Kritika huffed in annoyance....making Nandini feel bad. "Ab tujhe main kitni baar samjaun ki apni moral compass pe control rakh. Everything is not just Black & White ok...abhi thoda grey zone pe hai but hum jo bhi kar rahe hai issi mein sabki bhalai hai."
Nandini slowly nodded. Eventually Ishani returned and the three girls got ready and went to Manik's house.

Nandini was sitting in the bench, getting her mehendi done and also looking around for Manik. As this was a women's function, all of the men were inside while the mehendi ceremony was taking place in the back yard.
"Kya baat hai hone wali devrani ji?" Mukti came and nudged Nandini playfully. "Manik ko miss kar rahi ho?"
"Nahi bhabhi...main toh bas..." Nandini tried to explain.
"Rehne do rehne do...ache se samjah aa rahi hai mujhe." Mukti giggled. "Vaise...tum agar chaho toh main ek mulakat karwa sakti hoon."
